There is definitely a significant group of black men for Trump. It is well documented at this point. That doesn't mean the majority but even if 20% of black men voters, vote Trump, that is a news worthy story. It's the same for union workers who vote Trump or Latin American immigrants for Trump, or Muslims for Trump etc. Etc. There are people actively voting for someone who hates them cuz they dont like the status-quo. It's scary.

The average American does not understand that the inflation is not a US problem but a global problem. The pandemic ending creating enormous demand that the businesses could not keep up which the natural supply and demand that was happening and it takes time for the markets to balance them and which you are seeing now is the natural balance coming back. Other industries that saw that were price gauging, Biden is not perfect but remember what he walked into and we are way better off than we were then. Inflation is one problem rather than a global pandemic and recession level unemployment and the hate created by Trump. Considering that he. never had control of both houses-history will look favorably on Biden.

Stephen A. likely meant 2020 and the George Floyd protests, which Trump wanted to criminalize and not Jan 6th. I think most blacks (myself included) were more impacted by a President refusing to disavow police violence against black people (mostly black men) and viewed negatively the response of those protesters who were fed up by police violence.
I just switched from Trump to Kamala after her strong debate performance - I was on the fence. I am a black male and I was voting for Trump because he is strong on crime and has excellent foriegn policy. Trump has been too racist for me to hold my nose and vote for him. If he wasn't I still probably would vote for him. I have grown disillusioned with the Dem Party.

Cenk and Ana are right that the democrats need to make bigger deliveries, especially for those groups but they didn't notice that Smith didn't say what his basis was. He didn't say "several young men told me..." or anything. It is possible (likely) Smith was explaining his reasoning not theirs. Cenk and Ana repeated and amplified Smith's opinion using their in depth knowledge. It's also possible the young men have specific reasons based on right wing messaging or perhaps they don't keep up with news and politics at all and are going by a personal or community vibe. My point is a significant question was not asked and because of it their speculation may be way off.
As an example of a cohort that isn't thinking like Ana, and Cenk, Trump increased support from hispanic voters. I remember 2020 interviews with Cubans in Fl. They said they supported Trump because they are against communism and the Democrats are socialists and communists. That says more about right wing messaging than the democrats ability to deliver.

I think the manosphere has expanded greatly, I think that is where he is gaining with all young men, both black and white. The idea of a male identity or talking to men about men's issues is a thing whether people like to admit it or not. I saw this with my students who were very much in the rabbit hole... I think Harris would be wise to figure out how to appeal to these voters asap as the problem will only get worse.
These Manosphere channels talk about improving your self and starting your own business Harris wants to help with that $50,000 for a small businesses to start up. The Manosphere also is concerned with the nuclear family Harris wants to help with that as well $6000 tax credit for children in their first year of life. I don’t see how people can Choose to vote for a guy who bankrupted a casino instead

A major part of the problem is our system is NOT designed to solve problems, between divided Congresses, the flawed judicial system, gerrymandering, no term limits, etc.
What hurts me the most is that Biden didn’t forgive my student debt, and the fact that he let the child tax credit expired. Inflation is killing me. I can’t afford anything anymore. The issue in Gaza, even though it does not affect me directly, just by being aware of it, and watching images of it online, makes me sick. I have a 2-year-old daughter and I am so stressed with always being tight on money that I feel numb. I guess this is what we signed up for when we voted for Biden.

With only 50 days until the elections, Ana Casparian keeps criticizing Kamala Harris. She should be doing that after the elections from now on, given that the two candidates are neck-to-neck, and we cannot afford 4 years of Trump. I don't find this very tactful on her part. She can do better.

You get a ticket for rolling a stop light at 2 miles an hour making a right turn and another person gets a DUI and reckless driving charge after crashing into 3 cars . Balanced would be to acknowledge both and to address them based on the severity. Equal would be to cover both of them as if they are remotely comparable situations.

What did not help is I was given a" loan forgiveness pending" on my student loan. They told me not to pay for 8 months. Then they changed their mind and I'm back paying..LOL !
