Wow, you have a nice stock pile of logs there. This means some nice sawmill videos in the future. New trailer deck boards are already cut, and the installation video will be good to watch. You talked about your power buggies. One of the greatest selling points on them would be that you can actually climb a mountain w them!! I'll not ever forget the deck projects behind those homes that had the steep drop behind them. The only access to them was straight up that steep, long hill. What a video that was!! We can only hope your insurance providers don't watch that! Yeah, buddy, that was amazing. Today's Washington's birthday. I wonder what he'd have to say about the present administration?! Ten more days, and we're in March. You're going to have to build a roof over the sawmill so you can run it at night. Or, good idea, you can start taking every Friday and Monday off TSH and do home projects. Call it preretirement. Very nice video today, Tom. Thanks.👍❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸

Good video Tom, and do not worry about boring us with the maintenance videos. Between you and Mike, with Outdoors With The Morgans, it become like an extended family. We check in, drink our coffee and watch the videos, always something going on. I cannot answer for other viewers, but i have learned things and enjoyed all your videos. Your behind the scenes personnel are great as well, you know the saying, It takes a village to make a video.. LOL :) Look forward to seeing some saw milling on down times, you know spring is coming :) ty Tom

The company I used to work for had a lot of forms and equipment we used for concrete but like your buggies had concrete all over them. I found commercial lime away at the supply company and started spraying the forms and on equipment even the painted surfaces. It took a little elbow grease along with the lime away but the stuff on my crew looked like a million dollars and was much easier to clean and a spray down with lime away kept them good.

Tom, next time you have to replace your plate compactor look into a reversible plate. Great for getting into corners and tight spaces. I had both when i had my business and after getting the reversible plate, the forward plate was seldom used. Reversible was a little heavier compaction, too (5200#) vs my foward plates which were 3150 and 4000.

Look into thin conveyor belt. Amazon has them. Should last much longer and clean up easier.

How do you attach the carpet runners to the bar for the splash guards? Also a suggestion for the older power buggy, drill and tap the grease plugs for grease fittings.

Was wondering if something like an armor all type spray on the back of the splash guard would make them last longer and have less buildup and also easier cleaning? But you do great job in showing the little things people don’t ever see with the maintenance of equipment ! Most think the equipment runs forever with no time or money involved ! A big thumbs up 👍

Just watched grubb mudd live after words though lol .but I go by intro's mostly I have seen some channels showing the whole video in the intro and to me there's no sense in watching.but I am going to check out your channel because I am 55 and I don't do a lot of concrete but I do enough and I am always looking to learn more.and I seen someone say your are the best out here so I gotta see if so I will be honest and say it if not I will not be a troll I will still watch as long as the content is worth it thanks for the video and the opportunity for all of contractors to see y'all's work

Morning Tom, Just how often do you pour outdoors in the middle of Feb?? Just a bonus job I guess. Got to admit that there seems to be a little extra insulation (splatter) on that power buggy. Doesn't that get a little annoying at times? I'm surprised it can't be sprayed off when you do cleanups. I guess I'm just anal about that stuff. Not a criticism but an observation. Looks like you got a couple of bigger oak logs there. Hope you consider quarter sawing them. Beautiful lumber for that special project coming up???
As always j truly enjoy your videos. Sorry about the rear end of the new truck. Crap happens😢😢

I have a Gravelly zero turn commercial grade. I bought it in 2014 in Florida. Changed all the filters and oil and hydraulic as well. Kept it as clean as possible. Move to Missouri and I start mowing here. I have a couple of pastures and got gutsy and in a little area I managed to hit barb wire well that stopped the blades and killed the engine. So i drive to the building raise it up pull the blades off because the wire is wrapped tightly on them. Then the next year while mowing as i make a turn i look back and the blade falls off and luckily the bolt is still in the hole. I put it back on and I've had a bad vibration for some time. I take it to the dealer and they find that the crankshaft has a bad key way. He said he can rebuild the motor or he thinks he can have something made to fix the problem and tells me after it is started to run it wide open. In Florida they had me use 20/50 oil in everything the engine and hydraulic system. So this guy says he would change the oil, filter and hydraulic with new filters. So before I was running 20/50 synthetic oil and he puts in straight 30 in the engine. I'm thinking what the heck and hopefully he used 20/50 in the hydraulic system, maybe. Then he changes out the fuel filter for some cheap dinky filter that i know is junk because i have a brand new one in my cabinet that is from Kawasaki. I always prefer to do maintenance work myself and I know it gets done correctly.
