Wow. We are same age and same first big bikes. Found this recently. Great videos and thank you for making them. Thinking about buying one and doing the same. Keep on hackin.
Dino, after watching the cb750 build since the very beginning i'm so happy that you could finally take it for a test drive, i'm hoping that the project goes in the way that you want it. Keep on the good work mate!
Congrats on getting it to run. Aside from making the work look easy, you make the persistence look easy too. Getting this far in any bike project would be a once in a life time achievement for most of us mere humans. Inspirational as always.
Wow! I've waited so long for this moment when you finally get to drive it! Of course theres always stuff left to do, but it has been really great watching you do this series. When you announce that you're done withe the series I pledge to send you a donation!
Congrats, Dino. Nothing like that first test ride on a bike you've built yourself....well, except maybe the first time you get it out on the road and get to see all the stares and people admiring it. Nice job on the build and videos. Always enjoy your stuff.
I Found a 1977 Honda CB 750 Four K on craigslist for $100, and this is the first time doing a bike so me and my dad are so happy to find someone working on this type of bike! Might have to ask a few things over a time period if thats ok. (as in we might need some pointers.) thank you!
Also had an R5 and RD350 (pe LC) back in the day. A scratcher's dream. Used to ride it to the race track. Race it and ride home. Did a 4-hour endurance once and we came 10th.
Congratulations on your new (running) bike! Lovely and informative series, as usual. That said, I did enjoy the Sabre build a fair bit more, just because it was a personalized project and not a rebuild. Here's to hoping that you sooner or later get around to a third build!
Congrats sir. I am very impressed with the is accomplishment and your capabilities. You're damn close to the finish line. Just in time for riding weather. Bravo!!!
I thought you'de knock up a liquid manometer yourself. I have one I made yonks ago that works really well. I also tune my carbs around 3000 rpm as well as idle for nice smooth cruising. Well done. Good to see it up and running
Looking forward to an episode on installing the front brakes...particularly on how to install the pads and put things back together. How long before you get to that do you think? Extremely useful series, thank you
Nice job! It looks really nice! About how much did you spend in the end? I have the same bike and I would love to do a total rebuild/restoration. Thanks in advance because I know your great in depth videos will be an amazing asset!
+Nate Pinkley I'm not going to use the pods and having them on there wouldn't make a difference in syncing them anyway. Tuning them with pods would be another story. I'll be using the stock air box with a K&N filter.
+Dean Segovis you would be surprised! I have the exact same bike year and all. I fiddled with getting it synced with pods for weeks. I got it to where it would run decent but stumbled between 2800-3000 rims at higher speeds. ended up putting the stock box back on with a k&n filter. Runs like a champ now!
I dont know what happened. I am subscribed, stopped watching around 6+ months ago when you had your break approx after doing the carbies then just never got any notifications of new vids, next things I know about 2 weeks ago I see test drive vids show up in my list. :( a lot of catching up to do
Congrats with the test drive, Dean! Sounding great, .. with just that right egde to it!. ..was a great cheer-up to see you going.,! ..and about them instrument faces.. remembered that mr.Ichi at Ichiban Moto did make some custom faces.. those seemed working well,.. maybe he could make you a pair!? ;) m.youtube.com/?#/watch?v=mhMvtw5BoRE

sounding great.
excited to hear it after being tuned, flying down the black top
you give so much great info for free, you deserve every donation you get. kudos to Joshua. Hopefully I can do the same in the near future.
nice can't wait to get my 74 cb750 started and on the road thanks for sharing on the Honda
Been great following this series, congratulations on getting to the test drive.
Oooooo... An RD350... You rebel. Ha-ha... I had an RD250 many (, many) moons ago. Nice work on the Honda; it's looking and sounding really good.
+Spoif My first ride was an RD400, wish I'd never sold it! Really fun to ride, that one.
N1RKW Yes they were fun; great bikes.
excellent! always loved the CB750 great to see one go together in such detail. Thanks.
Great to see all of that work coming together!
Congrats on the test ride, can't wait for that day!
your success brings me joy it was great to watch you make your Victory lap around the cul-de-sac :)
It runs great!
Love the distressed look on the tank! Still wish you would put a brat style seat on it ;) Huge congrats on the test ride!
Congrats sir. I am very impressed with the is accomplishment and your capabilities. You're damn close to the finish line. Just in time for riding weather. Bravo!!!
Hey Dino, that four-into-one exhaust sounds pretty dopa!!

Sounds awesome

2 beer bottles a bit of food colour in the water and fish tank filter tube sync carbs
Gees it sounds sooo good! Thanks for the vid..
Suggestion...get a ratted out Ninja/CBR 250 and convert it to electric. You seem like the perfect guy for that. We can fund the batteries.
meh' better off with a small turbo diesel, but to figure out a manual transmission would take some serious fab
+Alexander Helton just throw a torque converter on it and call it a day =)
A very short Short Track right in front of your house !
UUUHHH ..... that's right men ....very very nice the sound , im like , greetings from Mexico
Congratulations but be careful ridding it
Have fun syncing those carbs with pod filters! :)

+Dean Segovis let me rephrase that... they will sync fine but getting it to run right is a different story.
+Nate Pinkley Exactly
sounds pretty nice... do you have to rejet the carbs? looks like a pipe is going blue already?
+knikula I won't get to that until I get it on the road so I can do a proper tune.
Sounds great. I once had a JANTON exhaust (4-1) on mine. And this one looks and sounds just the same.Where did you get this one.
SWEET!
What handle bars did you use for this bike?
Hey, does this one rev all the way? ;) Sounds really nice.
+tankas Ha! No gremlins so far! :)
I dont know what happened. I am subscribed, stopped watching around 6+ months ago when you had your break approx after doing the carbies then just never got any notifications of new vids, next things I know about 2 weeks ago I see test drive vids show up in my list. :( a lot of catching up to do
Pop a wheelie!
Are you going to paint the tank? You probably said before but I don't recall.
+MidwestMotoRider Yes. Tank and side covers will painted with the original Sunrise Orange.
+Dean Segovis Nice I love that color! It sure sounded pretty good, also got your neighbourhood dogs barking for sure. 😁👌
Dino, which rear shock is that? Are you satisfied with it?
Cheap China shock. It's barely adequate. I'll probably upgrade to Hagons this summer. www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/catalog/partdetail.aspx?PartNo=33501SA1
Kick stand? Kick Start ;)
👍🏼
Hey I have a 80 750 k , what is the 3 about?
