Yeah, I feel like Nemesis is where they finally started getting more creative with expressing killer personality through more unique animations and such. I believe he was the first killer to have a pallet break animation that broke them in a single hit rather than the usual one-two kick. After that, they got even crazier with Cenobite using his chains in animations and now we have things like Sadako using her psychic powers, Vecna using his magic, and Dracula using fire to break things (although now talking about it, I'm realizing a lot of killers with the most unique animations are licenses which might partially explain their complexity).
@spencervoth5057 yeah, but even the original Killers have some real personality to them now! The singularity and unknown have lots of cool details and the dredge is just crazy with how it does stuff
I still like the fact that starting with Nemesis, each subsequent or new killer has their own unique and individual start animation. (And starting with Sadako, all subsequent killers have their own unique animation of appearance, but in the lobby.)
Oh that's actually kind of cool that the physical model is holding the weapon up to their face on the killer's end, I thought it was a viewmodel like TF2
2:06 i hate these broken transitions so much, it's super jarring and immersion breaking whenever your killer raises his arms mid animation just so that it aligned with 1st person perspective but this is clearly not how it should work whenever you look at some Pyramid Head who raises his weapon only after it's animation is done and these are broken this way for a long time already. They are blatantly broken with Demogorgon who doesn't even align with his perspective he just statically gets into a pose
Ayo, idk its me, but during the animation u can hear a "ooooooo" faint in the background thag sounds exactly the Nun when she spawns out of the wall in the Conjuring 2, maybe its just me but a Conjuring chapter teased?!
i tired that butcher chainsaw 1 hit or no one escaped it just like insta kill from call of duty zombies i guess you know insta kill bonus skull killing zombies 1 hit Exactly the same dead by daylight what if they give Edward Richtofen Survivor and brutes a killer

First killer wirh a unique animation was actually pinhead. All the other killers before were just doing premade lobby animations
