I’ve been saying it since the beginning. Other aviation channels don’t come even close for many reasons. One of them being direct access to all these airplanes.
I'm so happy now. Your content rocks so hard and is so worth the wait. Just everything about this channel rocks. It's not just the stories you have, but its in the way that you tell them. Your content is so kick-ass and so unique, it can stand on its own no matter how its disseminated. That said, your gift for story telling is among the best I have ever known. I used to think Ken Burns was the greatest American story teller...until I discovered this channel. I'm not kidding. You are that good at story telling. I hope you know that. Thank you.
Man - those are some seriously kind words. I very much appreciate it - and comments like this make the whole process of creating this content worthwhile. Thank you!! ❤️
Gents, your channel is THE very best on this platform. As a pilot for some 35 years, I am not lying. Thanks. Ohhh, almost forgot, your music is superb! Thanks again.
Same here Indigo. I went "WTF" its over already? The only other time a movie/vid went this fast was Shawshank Redemption...I was spellbound by it and Steve's vids.
Steve, I’m going to say it again brother, these episodes are just getting better and better. I’m hanging out for next week & when you release it, it’s freaking prime time viewing down here at night. Alex 👍
Steve, once again your cinematic filming and editing skills are a joy to watch. And your Dad adds such a wonderful vibe to the overall video with his bands music.
Thank you so much for your awesome content. There’s nothing better than great aviation content and listening to awesomely interpreted jazz standards by cool cats!!!
The music is so perfect and eerie which suits the eerie remoteness of so many of these locations. Reminds me of the film apocalypse now as they start to venture up the river in to the mysterious dystopic void!
Only just found your content and it's hands down the best aviation content out there this should be on mainstream TV as it's better than anything on the Discovery channel ect. Well-done to you all. Keep up the good work.
Midway through my commercial certificate and this channel helped inspire me to do it. It’s a great study break from preparing for the checkride. Thanks for all the content and keep it up!
As a pilot in training, I watch a couple other UA-camrs, but this is by far my favourite channel. I wish I was 10yrs younger because you guys are living my flying dream!
Just had a thought while watching this: since the cameraman never dies, you’re also keeping you and your crew safe while recording these flights 🤣 Awesome sights, hadn’t fully watched this one yet
Another amazing episode, must have been insane having witnessed being that far south and so close to Antarctica. Thanks for sharing, great job as always 😎
Please post more videos! Your content is amazing! 9 hours without a plane, in all directions within a thousand miles is crazy to think about. Your illustration of London and the ice was really cool too.
I wanted to be a pilot when I was younger but life took me to the United States marines so i really like your videos i can live by curious though you thank you for the best aviation on UA-cam
These are absolutely excellent--from the cast of characters to the narration to the editing to the music to the camera angles. Thank you for making these films.
I agree with your take on the 787. I currently work flight line maintenance on the 787 and continually see the Airbus influence as well as 777 influence in the 787. That being said the 787 is a dream to work on, I can only imagine how it is to fly.
Absolutely LOVE your content Steve. Fascinating to watch and so very well produced. And you even landed in my hometown of Auckland (I now live in Ireland) so a bonus to see it featured. Glad you like it so much there. Can't wait for the next one!
Thanks for taking us along and showing a part of the world most of us will never see, saying that Qantas run sight seeing flights to Antartica now and then. Nicely filmed and edited with some great music.
The most enjoyable content on UA-cam. I love everything about your videos, the pictures themselves, the commentary and storytelling and the music. Outstanding! What's more, no begging for likes, subscribers or patron. Just an honest guy sharing his life. We are privileged to be able to ride along. Thank you!
We all get busy with our daily lives and time for enjoyment is rare, seeing a new episode of Cockpit Casual always brings a pause, being morning or night. This channel represents a fascinating insight into the first love of mine - flying - thus watching it behind the scenes and seeing true warriors that make the industry tick. Great enjoyment. Keep on going, looking forward to part II and many more to come.
Steve, your content is my most highly anticipated on YT. Clicking on it takes a nano-second after seeing it's post. Hope there's a part two. Thank you.
What a splendid Saturday Afternoon delight this Upload is, the Mixture of A1 fueled Jet Action and the perfect blend of easy going Jazz accompanying it, is just perfect. Keep the Videos coming they are by far in my Eyes the best Aviation Content out there on UA-cam. Best regards from Germany ! (And hope to catch you soon on Flightradar24 :P)
I'm a student from New Zealand working towards my CPL in NZPM. I've been a big fan of all your content and I'm stoked to see you visiting our country! Really enjoyed this episode, hope you get to stay here longer next time.
Amazing video once again, thank you so much for sharing with us who are not nearly as fortunate as Nomadic crews to see these wonderful views of our world. Your editing and commentary is incredible as always.
YESSSSSS a new one! Salty at youtube that I didn't get notified for this one for whatever reason, but knowing it's here makes it all better. I love these! Thanks for the awesome content.
Best Content for Aviation on UA-cam, always enjoy what you put out and estatic we have something new to view, Love the updates on Tiktok and Twitter, keep posting !
great flight, fantastic ice, clever idea to for scale to superimpose London on the frozen sea i noticed a recent Qantas 787 to JNB flew VERY close to Antarctica i missed the news that the powered up phones delivered that stuffed the planned night in Auckland i couldnt understand the words surprised no one else missed them what WAS the reason Steve? Great channel👍
I like the big Boeings and the small airbus… I’d say my order of favorite aircraft i’m rated on is is 787, 777, A320, A340, 767, A330, 757, MD-80, DHC-8, 737, CE550!
Nice content, thanks for the business, fellas! The jazz just makes it so much better. You know you've got a good job when you watch other folks doing it on Y/T and think to yourself, "Man, flying widebodies around the globe looks like it would be a blast!" You guys make me want to command a 777. Oh, wiat! 🤣 I'm glad you guys are well-compensated for the uncertainty, flexibility and and wide expertise you bring into the arena. I love my schedule and support system, but it's fun to see how the other half lives. And for the record, TK is the largest simulator training facility on the planet.
I have a flight tracker App. And every night I see planes ✈️ go and come from South America to New Zealand / Australia and wondered “wow there’s nothing out there”. And wow thanks for showing me how true that is!!
Absolutely love this channel! Sitting on my rest break right now watching this while we cross the ocean back to the US from the Czech Republic! I fly the B757 and B767. If I wasn’t flying for a major airline, I would love to do what you do! Seems like the adventure never ends!
The production of these videos is so on point. The music, commentary, footage, everything. Thanks for the latest upload and already looking forward to the next one!
Appreciate it - but vids take 3-4 weeks to produce. I’m busy running the company and flying trips 99% of the time… I have a few more in process and lined up for production, but not much I can do about the time it takes. I also have a wife & 4 kids and this is just a hobby! 😎
Love your videos, it was cool seeing that you guys were at the United Training Center in Denver, I live only about 2 miles from that place and usually pass by there daily
Another awesome episode in the cockpit casual series! Really cool to see the 787-type rating process. Can't wait for the 2nd episode! Love the videos, keep it up!
By FAR the absolute BEST aviation content on UA-cam.
I’ve been saying it since the beginning. Other aviation channels don’t come even close for many reasons. One of them being direct access to all these airplanes.

Somehow bumped into this, has to be one of the best aviation channels on UA-cam. Keep the content coming, very interesting stuff.
Content and music are the best on UA-cam!
Love it. thanks Richard!
The music played while flying over the Antarctic seems so appropriate. Very eery but majestic. So cool!
I thought exactly the same, brilliant match to the location and scene.
@@langdalepass it’s probably my favourite from the whole series so far.
Never long enough these episodes. Thanks for the transportation.
