We all have to step up !!! Noam will not be in this frame of existence for much longer. Telling truth for so long has taken a toll on him. Letz help fight the power. Letz do the work y'all !!!!!!!

We ought to be doing a lot more. Nice ending. I do love Noam! I will forever be in awe of not the largest army or the mass of men who carry out violence but to the peacemaker!

Chomsky is someone who really knows a lot about all the sides involved and can talk a lot about it, unlike hipocrites that uses sarcasm to perpertuate a mind-blowing situation as with no final solution. God bless Chomsky, he is the best in what he do.

    EIGHT israelis "wounded" ?

Simone Baiam: What about before Hamas were on the scene? Was there any difference in Israel's approach? The Palestinians have tried peace talks but Israel always pull out. They've tried elections but Israel says they vote the wrong way. They've tried appealing to the UN but to date the US has vetoed 60 resolutions for un charter 242 to be inforced, which was agreed in 1972 and calls for an unconditional withdrawal of all Israeli settlements and troops and an end to all violence.

You are completely right and I agree with you. Just understand that although Israel may not be part of this world moving forward the Palestinians and the rest of the Arab world is certainly not part of it.

Actually, he says `now of course they have pretext, everybody has pretext`` at 2:40. I don`t know about Chomsky being one sided, but I think sometimes we tend to hear what we want to hear.

No, your grammar was fine. From my perspective, the problem with Israel, as a concept, is that the world is moving beyond ethnicity/religious belief system and Israel is moving in the opposite direction. Certainly, the world is still divided along these lines but, as the world become smaller, we are moving in a direction that will eventually recognize humans as humans as humans, not Jews and Chinese and Scandinavians and Japanese and Russians, etc. Apartheid is no longer an acceptable concept.

"Dgnity" is a word you hear in all the countries of the "Arab Spring", especially Syria. Unfortunately, many in the West don't seem to care about Syria - something about Assad being the "resistance" or some such fatuous nonsense.

Why Chomsky never blames Hamas people for not investing, the millions of dollars they receive from the international community, in creating a genuine welfare state, instead of investing it in hatred and victimization? Why never blaming Hamas for human rights abuse? Can't Hamas understand that if only, they could change their speech of destroying Israel to achieve their ultimate happiness, the whole picture would be different? Maybe they believe that being victims is just more comfortable?...

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't something like 65% of the American Jewish vote go to Obama ?. Perhaps the Jewish people have as many bones to pick with their government as we do with ours. Perhaps BB needs to re evaluate his stance.

The Palestinians have tried peace? You might have missed some chapters of History? In 2011," Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas stated that the Arab rejection of the partition plan was a mistake he hoped to rectify."Please read: wikipedia. org/wiki/United_Nations_Partition_Plan_for_Palestine.
Besides, before Hamas, there was Arafat, a corrupt self-centred Palestinian lider, who stole millions from the Palestinians, and still died as their hero.

Glad I found this, was wondering was chomps has to say on this. " With no pretext" is not entirely true- a high-profile Hamas leader was killed. I read the Israeli press and israelis are ecstatic. Chomps is a bit one sided but I respect him.

Watch your language and get more informed before taking side, Please read:
"In 2011, Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas stated that the Arab rejection of the partition plan(UN 1948) was a mistake he hoped to rectify.[10]" See Wikipedia, partition Israel/Palestine 1948.
How does some one invest money in hatred and victimization?Simple; There are only 1.7 million people in Gaza and billions of in donations, Where has this money gone? Are you good at Maths?

Well I don't know how it works but I do know that England has to do with it.
AIPAC influenced US politics but I hope that Obama won't attack Iran just because Natanyahoo wants this, if it was Mitt then it would be a different case.

I like this idea of yours. I had not read of it or thought it before. I see Obamas victory in this US election as a support for this idea. Thank you. You've cheered me up. I'm sure there are some hard times to come before the new and better world but if one can think it, it can happen. :) Strange thought: Saudi Arabia with its Wahabism is like Israel with its Zionism ? I don't know why I'm saying that it seems somehow usefully interesting

I blew the grammar badly with my first response. I think it would serve the cause of peace between Jews and Muslims if the real reasons for the foundation of the state of Israel were understood. I dont think the Governments and elites of the day ok'd its foundation out of guilt or kindness towards Jewish people. What they were I can only guess: A permanent reason to intervene in local affairs? to either save Jews or local Oil controlling pals from Muslim revolutionaries seeking a Muslim Union?

  • @KeelyJ777
    @KeelyJ777 12 років тому

Yeah because Wikipedia is a great source of truth when it comes to politics. That still makes no sense mate. I am too busy debating with people much more intelligent than yourself. I don't have time to argue with racist children.
Where has the money gone? Obviously not to the people, it is they who are suffering boy.

Noam should mention the constant humiliation in which those women live. You saw her, the one with the Burka.
A philosopher is the one that criticizes both sides. and even when I dislike Israel policies, I dislike the Palestinian [olicies and culture even more.

Two very disreputable characters. Both write their own narratives of history, and then use their make believe facts to present their anti-Democratic reasonings.
