The best clone system is Naruto's shadow clones because when they disappear, he keeps their knowledge and experiences. He uses it to accelerate his training and the clones are temporary so there's no existential crisis over who's the original.
I always thought Black Sperm from one punch man had an extremely powerful cloning ability for the same reason. That possibility is never brought up, but every single clone is the exact same person, they just divide and remerge once they're done, so I imagine he would be able to to the same thing
I feel like Aenne didn't really take full advantage of the double revive. What she does is leave the two points at different places, then try to survive with nothing. Then, upon death and respawn she'd move, only paying attention to one, and cause the other to die (she'd probably be better off with a single revive and having something else in another slot). A better strategy would be to place two close to each other, intentionally die, respawn, survive and wait for the cooldown to end, and repeat. This way you'll be able to focus on all clones, while also quickly multiply. It'd be cool to see a round where y'all let this happen (because it's easier said than done in a regular match), and see how much of the screen one can take up. And then, if you can get a weapon for your third slot (preferably a projectile like missile or grenade), use it, and watch them all bombard the screen
It's such a shame the dupe was basically never even used in a creative way, every single time the stuff that was done with the two revives could have been done with one
@@scrazad1601 maybe you can comment this after like 10 episodes minimum since theyre learning Judging the strategies they have made this early feels unnecessary, give it time They still have to discover: - smoke ability is flammable - bigger character = bigger explosion - lasers bounce off the water so you can hit yourself And more.... Just found this channel via this game and a new one drops! More more more! WOO! I think you guys have the best Bopl Battle videos on the net. ...There isn't *too* much competition, but yes, keep it up!
Is it possible to place yourselves on the bottom left of the screen next time? Your current placement is blocking the score count after each round as well as the ability selection before the next round. I know score count doesn't matter overall but I like seeing it as it's a bother to keep count of the score.
This comment section is vile, sending love to Stumpt. Here's things I love about y'all. Aenne: I love their perspective on games and trying to see what works best for them. Price: I love his chaotic energy and watching his clock tick comboing powerups into one another. Jaz: I love her laugh and her mischievous side to bring humour to the group. Ash: I love his passion for gaming and leading role in managing the games they play together. At the end of the day, I love Stumpt for y'all not the games, flaws and all. I'm sorry people feel the need to bring attitude into the comments section. ❤
I wonder how many copies of yourself you can make with the revives. Price was able to make 4 in the other episode, although its pretty tricky to control all of them and they probably wouldnt last very long. Just like Kage Bunshin! They just decoys to confuse your enemies! (I cant believe I just quoted Naruto...)
I'd like to see you guys play this with revive banned. Revive can be fun sometimes, but 90 percent of the time, it's just annoying. Its just like phoenix in rounds which was banned but worse since you can use this pretty frequently.
Phoenix was only banned in Rounds because it made it guarantees that you'd survive attacks that nuke the screen, giving an automatic win. Bopl has no nuke weapons. Also, having revive in your build in Bopl is a much larger investment than in Rounds, since it'll be one of your two (or three) moves. In Rounds, based on their modded ruleset, they can have up to 14 cards upon the score being 2-2-2-2. Not only that, but many items in Bopl easily counter revive, you just need to make sure not to die before the counter is activated
@doomclasher9287 still, it just isn't fun. It's boring to watch and from the sound of price and the others, it isn't fun to play against. Especially when anne only had respawn.
@@Fitzcrackers4prez based on how Aenne was playing, she only respawned once, or sometimes, zero times, per match (not including revives that die seconds after due to bad placement). It was mainly that she ran away from everyone, or everyone killed themselves in some way. That can be done with any loadout, not just loadouts with revive. And as I said, it can be played around, since you can always see where they respawn. You could place mines where they spawn, you can have a sword ready, you can time or send a missile or grenade there, you could charge up a spin and activate it, letting them fall onto you upon revive. Some of these tactics were used in this episode, and Price's mitosis episode, and worked
@@doomclasher9287 I'd like to mention that in the most recent bopl episode, price says phenix was banned for the same reason. And a lot of the balance Arguememts don't apply here since these guys aren't pros and it's about fun here, it's not if they could do something, it's if they are.
@@Fitzcrackers4prez I'm aware, I saw the episode, but it still doesn't take into account what percentage of abilities/cards you have to sacrifice to include the revive, as well as cheese potential. If I remember correctly, on that video I said that revive in Bopl required at most 4.667 times the amount of commitment as Round's, which when not including the difference the two have through gameplay, basically means that Rounds's revive is 4.667 times, or 466.7%, stronger than Bopl's. Also, as mentioned before, an entire reason revive was banned in Rounds was because it gave an gaurenteed win against nuke builds. However, Bopl doesn't have nuke builds, so that reason is removed entirely here
Am I the only one catching heat between a couple people? I understand that revives can become annoying if you consistently do them but like man the amount of like sass and bad energy going around just because she’s using a play style she found effective is unnecessary, and she realized the hate she was getting for it and legit threw herself off the game on the last one and STILL getting just snickering and bad vibes, he’s saying he just wants to have fun and enjoy the chaos but from what I’m seeing here he seems like a very competitive person and very compassionate on winning, now I’m not hating on this group, I’m just concerned that problems are arising over a simple game they’re playing for their fans and I feel like they need to choose their emotions better because if that’s how they’re reacting in front of a camera for a huge audience I can’t imagine what it would be like off camera, I hope this is as far as it went, be careful guys, I do really love the energy in your videos but this just seemed off
I appreciate the concerned feedback. I realize I am competitive and I wanted to prove to myself that I can exploit the move set to my best abilities. This is how I played in SSBB, and it's a viable tactic. And yes, it's an annoying style of playing. But that's the point. And now that I know I can win, I can just do other things. It was a scientific study. And please don't worry, just like families, we've all been friends for a very long time and we are bound to upset each other from time to time. But in the end we are all good friends and care about each other! (Aenne)
Yoo a respectful criticism of Aenne for once, instead of just "Aenne is annoying". I personally think Aenne is great, but you made a point. Also the dev seemingly makes OP abilities with just a bunch of counters. You are supposed to combo with them, and 3 revives is actually overrated as a strategy. For example, the counter to the triple dash combo (so you can fly infinitely) is time stop. Now... How to counter revives? Why not try camping with the mines, the grow ray to grow platforms and prevent respawn, maybe a black hole would work, or even the electric teslas you could put down, what about time stop (with a decent comp, you can effectively trap the player and their future clones). It just takes practice and some creative thinking and thats why I love this game so much. Price has pulled off an anti-revive combo and it was successful, so yeah; no need to worry about op strats or scummy strats since the dev actually finds ways to make them all fun but counterable and interactive (for combos)
Price: I don't care about winning. Also price becomes salty when someone is doing an overpowered strategy to win. Ash and Jas really does not care about winning and he does enjoy trying to overcome it.
He's just saying what's happening. Revive is not fair most of the time. Anne didn't even have weapons most of the time so she was just being annoying. Price was trying to play the game while anne wanted to win
@@Fitzcrackers4prez I see both sides, it'd be fun if onetime they had a truce and let someone keep multiplying until there's like 32 versions running around hahaha
First, "yet again" implies you've watched before and should therefore know it's Price. Second, while I will be honest and say I am usually of the same opinion on how Price* reacts during games like these, the infinite revives did get old rather quick especially when everyone else is doing at least one random if not full random. So, no. Price* did not make this unfun. Simply don't watch the video if it's that bad for you?
@@Fitzcrackers4prezNot agreeing with the Price hate, but Aenne did take a lot of weapons. They would take whatever random weapon people dropped or the level spawned, and did kill the other members directly several times.
You know, I’d be happy with this becomming a channel regular. It fits so well with Stumpt.
