this is the only tutorial i have seen on these and theyre really cool, i made another way where you make a tinfoil ball and cover it in a thin layer of hot glue, then take a paper strip shaped like a plus and cover the ball till the paper is 3/4 down, trim the excess and wrap a paper strip around the bottom of the +, then continue wrapping paper up and around the plus shaped paper until you have a ball joint like this.
I need to make veeeery small ball joint for my poptoys 1/6 body. Theirs are of different construction but your variant could totally work. In any case thank you very much for the idea! And video.
paper and normal paste glue, just tear paper and coat it in glue and once dry take off and test the movement and if reallly tight sand the ball down but to make a ball just use airdry clay but i have a diagram for the tutorial if you want it ill make a video of it
