Welcome to another video! So I flew Wingo for the first time! I booked this very affordable flight from Medellin, Colombia to Panama City, Panama a couple of months ago less than a couple weeks in advance. The flight was scheduled to depart very early in the morning, and due to the region's impressive geography, morning departures like this one are usually accompanied by heavy fog and on this occasion, some heavy rain just after rotating from the runway (it had also been heavily raining all night long up until after we finished boarding). Please enjoy the amazing CFM56-7B roar as we climb out ot Rionegro to Panama.
Also on a sidenote... These 737s are LOUD! In Colombia the most common aircraft type is by far the A320 family since that's what all airlines but Wingo fly, but since the collapse of Viva Air and Ultra Air, Wingo has dramatically increased its operations and expanded its fleet and route network to fulfill the demand, so they're getting a more common sight. And let me tell you, I was surprised as to how loud these aircraft are compared to the Airbuses, especially the air conditioning system/fans, which makes the engine sounds less perceived by the mics.
