Sonic and Lilac vs Mecha Sonic

- A bit short. First time trying out rig sprite animation, for Mecha Sonic at least. Anyways, here Sonic and Lilac try to rescue Mario, who was being held at the castle. As they reach it, little did they know that Mecha Sonic was the one guarding the ice cage that trapped Mario. So yea, that's a little bit of a story there.

Well... I just search for them on google images. What I search to find some of these effects are "Smoke effects" ,"Flare", "Speed lines", and "Hit sparks".

This Mecha Sonic is based off the Mecha Sonic from SMBZ. In that series, that Mecha Sonic is actually Metal Sonic, transformed.

for me I don't like it. he sounds like vegeta from dragon ball Z in a way. Another thing is that I really love Sonic 1 - 3 and mania because i don't gotta hear all those cheesy lines Or hear anyone speak during good music when there are already sound effects that can break the pacing of the music or anything else. But god damn if metal sonic got a voice or a voice sound effect in sonic 3 would have made me pissed. Most likely because i enjoy silence or something. I'm a weirdo .-.
