I lived in Windsor and worked in Detroit from 1998-2001. It's great to see that the downtown is making a comeback and many of those beautiful buildings are being restored. I really hope the job market is strong enough to support this rejuvenation. Also, as a new drone pilot, I commend you on your excellent footage! I have a DJI Mini 3 Pro and I'm really enjoying it. Cheers.
The empty parking lots right outside of Comerica Park on Woodward are definitely the biggest waste of space that I see in this video. I hear that development on those lots “could be” coming…but we’ve heard that before in Detroit unfortunately
Hey, great footage, would you give us permission to use some in a music video? We would fully credit you and happy to offer royalty free music in exchange. Best from Glasgow.
The dowtown is alive again! Now, it s time for the nieghbourhoods around! Many of them still empty but hope new young resident bought old properties (that are cheap if compare them to another big cities) and all those empty hoods will be full of life again!
I recall Detroit in the 1970s. Seeing all this new development makes me so happy! Detroit may still be sick, but it is very much alive!

Omg thank you so much for this experience I've lived in Detroit my whole life and this feels like an outer body type thing Great quality video
Beautiful aerial footage here! Cheers, Britt
This video is about 1.5-2 years old. No Huntington structure and the progress at the Hudson site is early.
Nice footage I'm getting back into flying mine again
Smooth flight 👍
Detroit needs to invest heavily in rail transit and fill in those empty parking lots with buildings
The Big 3 (GM, Ford, Chrysler) don't want it here.

@@Mark-oy1wv Yeah well there needs to be demand for those spaces to be filled for them to actually start construction
Inspired tour. Thanks you.
I don’t understand why they won’t built on the riverfront! If they built hotels or apartment buildings alongside the river it will be worth it.
Mainly because they want it to be more of a public area for the community where people can walk, cycle and experience the view of the river.
You’re right. It would be good there would be residential mixed use and commercial/office space plus plenty of open space for parks

It's slowly coming. We've got Orleans landing complex and also plans residential plans along Atwater st
They wanna clean up the buildings that are there first
It's a beautiful city in a beautiful state with not too much snow and zero major disasters to worry about. Why isn't it flourishing?
Detroit Michigan is better than New York City.
HELLO CAN I USE THIS FOR MOVIE TRAILER?
Hey :) is this footage copyrighted?
Good stuff, but is the footage a couple years old? Just going by the construction/development.
Yeah I'm guessing it's about a year and a half old based on Hudson's
Yes, this is the extended edition of the video I published back in July 2021.
NICE
我爱底特律downtown!
