Magazine based system but you only get one magazine.
Next step would be dropping the empty Magazine on a carousel with a second magazine switching them between loader and port so the full magazine can be loaded into the gun while the epty one is being loaded.
Kinda see why you didn't as your package is crazy compact, especially width-wise.

yeah this is an insane build for sure. he probably spent a lot of time on it. but 2 mags if you can fit them would be more efficient in battle. cause your shooting more.
