Without a doubt
I'll be the first to admit, I have a romantic connection to putting a needle on a record, hearing the pop and slight hum followed by warm direct analog sound. I have an old Macintosh integrated tube amp, and a pare of beat to hell Klipschorn AK5 floor standing speaker. For me, listening to Pink Floyd is deeply connected to that ritual of putting needle to vinyl. I can say with pride that I never replaced those albums with CDs until they were remastered in 2011.
A few years ago a buddy of mine parked his Sennheiser HD800s over my ears and told me to close my eyes. I immediately recognized the some as Pigs, but this was a whole other planet. I'd heard vinyl and CDs on his phones before, but DAMN. The clarity and dynamic range were bottomless, and the sound stage was so three dimensional I literally lost my balance a few times. WTF!!! I sat there in a corner losing my religion.
James Guthrie and Andy Jackson took the remastering of these albums to a whole new level without disturbing the soul of the music. That is one hell of a feet. My hat is off to them. Thank you gentlemen for reintroducing me to Floyd
Written in 70’s,still stands on 10’s!!! What else can you say?? RESPECT and only this!

Pink Floyd is timeless
I love Pink Floyd. One of my sons name is Roger Waters Villareal and the other is named David Gilmore Villareal. My daughters name is Vera Lynn Villareal. I met my wife at a Pink Floyd laser light show. I got so deep into The Wall when I was 17 that I didn't really come out of it for almost 5 years. It was nuts when I look back at it now but it made so much sense to me then.

In my opinion two of the best outro riffs in music are on this album….this song and Sheep.
The solo is absolutely insane!
Only Floyd could take you off in the middle of a song into an entirely new riff, then bring you back into the original, with some of the best bridges ever.
Hundreds of years from now, musicians will still be believing the Floyd were ahead of their time.
Pink Floyd don't make tracks they go for the whole album trying to make it all one complete I don't know any other band that does that in the my opinion best band ever.

It is also what destroyed the band. Sometimes a band member has his/her politics. Then next thing you know one guy wanted his politics - message to be more important than what the other three wanted.
The music in this album is great. But, a double standard by Waters. That dude railed vs. the man and capitalism, and social issues. But, he is that guy, a guy with lots of money - the man. The rest of the band just wants good music and less divisive messages.

The original 1st mix is still the best sound.
I have an original album that was played to death for decades.
It now hangs on my bedroom wall as art.
I still have the original poster and stickers that came with it also.
