Seriously does James manage to film and edit these clips himself. That's borderline better than professional top gear VTs. I know Tim has a few guys helping him but never seen James say "Here is mike he helps with" etc. I've been on driving holidays with 17 cars etc and getting pictures is effort enough without drone shots etc. James if your doing all that yourself that's incredible. Got to love that Car on that road and I'm capt slow when driving😉

The reason why Aventadors catch fire is that the genius Italians put a vent that lets out a mixture of air & unburnt fuel next to the exhaust. When driving, it's not a problem, but when someone would rev it hard while standing, some of those gentlemen get rewarded by that vent catching fire.

That's totally wrong! The exhaust emits CO2 and unburnt fuel; that's why it spits flame. The cars catch fire because idiots rev them in traffic when the cars are stationary, meaning that flames have nowhere to go but up into the surrounding bodywork. Do it enough times and the bodywork catches fire...
Matt Russell That would mean that James shouldn't rev his LT in standstill. Not every car shooting flames in standstill will catch fire eventually. There's some sort of problem with the charcoal filter of Aventadors getting soaked in fuel, which seems to be a production issue.

The fact that there's no 'vent' exhaling unburnt fuel vapour and air is correct. The earlier cars have a fuel system fault which is causing the cars to flame out far more than, say, an LT - which, when at a standstill, creates a fire risk.
Did you watch the video? I admit there's no actual fuel but there's gas from the tank.
this road is so EPIC it takes me back to driving video games classics like GT on Play Station ... it's like unreal ... and the Mclaren feel and especially out the corners bit ... such an amazing job capturing that on camera !!! thanx James

The camera angles on this video are fantastic. It was like I was riding on the air brake taking it all in while simultaneously riding in the cabin and on the roof. Also the poor cyclist shitting his knickers at 9:21. Poor boy will have the trots for days on end after that buzzing! Great stuff!

im so mesmerized by the go pro on the active wing... that breif one seccond shot of the camera moving to show an overhead shot of the car is absolutely insane! by far an amazing UA-camr who uploads quality videos, loads of them too and never uploads rubbish to just pump out videos.

I love my tracker/tracking system on my car. I was quite amazed that one time at work when it was gale force winds I got a text through to say a Theft alert has begun on 1 minute later they rang and asked if it was alright :D! Cracking service by these tracking companies!

An Amazing Panda no doubt
I watched this video again and again during my A-levels 5 years ago to give me some motivation for the future. I am watching again today after securing a pretty decent job, so I watch this video again to remind myself that I should not get into a "comfort zone" here, and must work harder to go further. LMAO. JWW pushes the LT to the limit but didn't get overheated but Shmee drives the LT like a Prius but it gets overheated
Overheating can have a lot of reasons, that you won't believe, have nothing to do with driving. Shmees car could have a broken radiator, a broken ventilator, loosing coolant somewhere, a broken sensor for the coolingsystem, a broken ecu for the system, a broken cable to the ecu or sensors and much much more.

Even James doesn't push his super car to the limit. When you want to watch this search for Robert mitchell. He drives his 2 Lt's and Ferrari speciale on the Nürburgring to the limit and he doesn't care if his cars get scratches in the process. On a normal road you can't push this kind of cars to the limit and least not, when you stay in the legal boundaries.

I was able to experience an LT once as a passenger, and I can say that that was the most insane pull I've ever felt in combination with great cornering and stability on the road.
