Gorilla mom Ai and her daughter Annie were playing together.
Ai was grooming her daughter Annie indoors.
They both looked very happy playing together.
Annie was artificially nursed for about a year after birth. I wonder if she recognizes Ai as her mother.

Shabani was born in the Appenheul Primate Park, Netherlands.
Nene was born wild in Cameroon.
The other three were born in the Higashiyama Zoo in Japan.

Ai is being such a very loving mother to Annie lately. 🥰 Such a beautiful girl.
That girl knows her who momma is trust me they both know
Maybe Ai does. Shabani would for sure as they would just be wired to think "If there are no other male gorillas around, I must be the father." Ai could think Nene was the mother. Or maybe they don't think in terms of mother/father. It's just "am i attached or not?". And would be wired to become attached to a baby in front of them if there is no one to claim the baby besides them.
What we would need to figure out to know if Ai thinks she is, would be if when Annie was taken away, if they made sure Ai saw the baby everyday. If so then she probably does think Annie is the baby. But if they didn't show her for a while, then I don't see why Ai would necessarily think that.
They give off gorilla sibling vibes most of all. Ai treated Annie and Kiyo the same when they were young, except she spent more time with Annie as Kiyo had his mom to look out for him.
Ai may have not reared Annie as a baby, but she sure has made up for it. She is as good of a mother as Shabani is a father. Ai is a sweetheart. 💖

The close up of Kiyomasa and Shabani playing 🎉🎉🎉 Kiyomasa is getting more and more of the silver hair 🤩🤩🤩 Ai if she would have a baby now I think she would keep him/her and take good care of the infant..❤❤❤ She seems to have missed that with Annie IDK 🤷♀️she want’s to be around Annie more and more❤❤❤ (but then again I might be full of 💩)😊

I know they are Gorillas with incredible physical abilities that humans only dream of but they scare me playing and rolling around on top of that tower 😳🤞🏻……. And, I love how the Silverback takes it for granted everyone is gonna move out of his way when he is walking by 🙂🦍♥️

Zookeepers and Veterinarians around the world. Thank you for being kind and making sure all animals are safe and healthy❤🦍 you guys are the very best! I love watching Gorilla videos, i love visiting the Gorillas at my local zoo (The Bronx Zoo) I always sit and watch them when I visit. They have always been my favorite animal since i was a small child. (I'm 45 yrs old) I own a few bags from Kiplin and all of their bags comes with a small Gorilla charm. Gorillas are one of God's best creations. They make everything better for me. I could sit and watch them all day. I always used to say, if i became a millionaire i would have Gorillas instead of Dogs lol. I know that's totally impossible but imagine if we could actually sit down with these majestic beasts? They're so much like us in so many ways. I'm just in awe of them and i squeal like a little kid every single time i see them at the zoo. If i was rich i would donate to all Gorillas around the world and i would also donate to find a cure for Autism💙 I would just love to help people who's in need, especially children and the elderly.

Ai is a beautiful female gorilla, but no way she is or was a good mother like Shabani is a good father, Shabani is and was a terrific father since the beginning of his kids lives and Ai just know started to play with Annie , i think she is more comfortable playing with older gorillas!
Even tho ai had a hard time at first you can not convince me they do not accept each other as mom and daughter I belive it ha a to do with her father shabani and his wife nene and brother Ai knows it was hard for her but she loves her the way only a mom would she runs to Herr side in rain storms you name it her parental bond is am5😊
