While they were in their one month training period in L.A. they self produced the song 'From' (Credit to Captain). It's really good. You should give it a listen.
JongHo is one of the best dancers. He focuses more on his vocals though and doesn’t show it as much as he could. All the guys have said if JongHo were to dance and sing it would be JongHo and 7 other guys.
Notice how they made their vocalists (Jongho-main, San-lead) the main focus of the second performance video to show that their dance skills don't fall behind others.
It's absolutely killing me that out of all the lyrics with expletives and stuff in those songs, you had the strongest reaction to "got some hitters in my clique" 💀

Because being from a small company gave them less exposure to the audience in an industry oversaturated with similar talents and idols. They needed something unique to them which could help their initial fanbase and also as a base for their future titles. KQ used the western audience extremely well with these strategic plannings.

KQ really gave NOfks about the song choices. There have been a few other times where there has been background songs on shows like Code Name ATeez where the song is NOT EDITED at all. I think my favorite part from the Pick It Up dance was the fan chant that came from it. When Ateez performed it on their first tour, the fans would yell back "BAD B**** PUERTO RICAN"

i started listening to kpop the summer of 2018 and I'm so mad I didn't get into it more cause i would've definitely been an atiny then as well😔 its a blessing in disguise cause I didn't go through all the hardships😭
