"Powder blue" was the name of a cleaning powder that people used in the 1800's to clean mirrors and glass. You'd basically take a bit of it in a soft cloth sachet, put alcohol on the glass, and them rub the sachet over the glass to give it a sheen. The cleaning powder is no longer used, but the color the powder was still lives on.
You should roll for two aesthetics and try to decorate a whole house with those two, like it's two people who have very different tastes living together
I think that’d be really cool! I guess with sims packs it probably would end up very delineated between the aesthetics but as someone who has a couple of odd aesthetics smashed together to make my own I can attest it does work😅😂
please do a challenge where the screen is black and white so you guys can't see the colors, and then, do a reveal of the color in the end. It would be so fun to see if you guys can match everything without seeing them!

This house really feels like a grandparent's house to me, for some reason. Given the urn in the living room, I'm imagining a atory where the teen and the baby's parents died so the two had to move in with their grandparents. Now the teen is in their angsty rebellious phase due to the trauma while the grandparents are overcompensating with the baby by filling the room with plants, as if by being surrounded by life will make it not realize that the most important lives are missing.
I love the idea of the living room being white tho, it’s such a cute idea that all of the other rooms are color coded (therefore anyone living in those rooms are probably color coded too) so when everyone meets in the living room, or bring items into that room, they all bring color to the room.
The house does scream grandma aesthetic, but it fits with a story of the teen and baby living with there grandparents. 👍🏼the aesthetic flows throughout the house quite well.

My personal lore for the red room teen is that they just have adhd and just gets a lot of hyperfixations and so now they know how to play the piano, guitar, likes to craft their own posters like you said, and just likes to craft and draw in general etc.
For Halloween you guys should do every room a different monster so maybe a Dracula room, a Frankenstein room, a mummy room etc or every room a different Halloween movie

One day I wanna see them both make seperate intrusive thought houses where they do what their intrusive ideas told them about adding wacky horses or plants, etc. With no "no" from the other
Story idea: (ps this is just me idea spouting) A teenage boy, sent to live with his religious country grandmother after one too many incidents at his parent’s house. Only thing is, he doesn’t just live there, he THRIVES. His grandma is surprisingly supportive when he officially comes out, and is happy to get him stuff for his interests. His room there used to belong to his mom and aunt, which is why there’s two beds. The urn is his grandfather’s urn, but he passed away when our mc(name ideas????) was really little, so he doesn’t have any memories of him. His grandma (or nana as he calls her) is a fun lady, always ready for adventure and fun color. She doesn’t really have any normal grandma hobbies, unless you count cooking/baking and crocheting! Our mc, on the other hand, doesn’t mind cooking but it’s definitely not his favorite hobby. He prefers music and art, and started up a small rock band of him as the lead guitarist, a goth enby on drums, and a shy, yet talented singer. He draws posters and flyers and such to give out and post around town to advertise the band(band name ideas??? Also band mate name ideas????) And I’ve run out of ideas :) - Buh bye and thanks for reading, a random person writing this at 5-6 am (I haven’t slept yet :3) Edit: I forgot about the baby!!!!! Um- an orphan baby that the nana adopted ig :)
One thing I love about your videos that not only it’s a fun experience watching you make houses and stuff but you also give tips and ideas out. Much love ❤❤
Just saying, the red teen room could be for an Eddie Munson from Stranger Things type character, he uses the craft table to make stuff for Hellfire campaigns and paint D&D figurines, plus, obviously the guitar is perfect!

That teen room is just SCREAMING CRYING OUT-
Eddie Munson
Thank you, thank you.
OMG I didn’t even think of that 😂
If you want a tiny home idea, do a converted school bus tiny home!
One day I wanna see them both make seperate intrusive thought houses where they do what their intrusive ideas told them about adding wacky horses or plants, etc. With no "no" from the other
*impulsive thoughts
Story idea: (ps this is just me idea spouting)
A teenage boy, sent to live with his religious country grandmother after one too many incidents at his parent’s house. Also band mate name ideas????) And I’ve run out of ideas :)
- Buh bye and thanks for reading, a random person writing this at 5-6 am (I haven’t slept yet :3)
Edit: I forgot about the baby!!!!! Um- an orphan baby that the nana adopted ig :)
As someone who's favorite color is orange it's also so fun watching people come around to the color.
i literally love you guys’ videos! i click immediately every time
Has anyone else noticed that they've been doing nurseries now every single build since the Every room has a different theme?
Because that's when the Infants basegame update came out! They have a new type of room to make, so they're using it
Love me an angsty music werwolf gay teen 💅
One thing I love about your videos that not only it’s a fun experience watching you make houses and stuff but you also give tips and ideas out. Much love ❤❤
YES that you for putting the pride flag in the teens room!
Just saying, the red teen room could be for an Eddie Munson from Stranger Things type character, he uses the craft table to make stuff for Hellfire campaigns and paint D&D figurines, plus, obviously the guitar is perfect!
For I handed on to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures; that he was buried; that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the scriptures
The pride flag made me think, maybe for next pride month you can do a pride house, every room based on a different random pride flag
There are some really cool color combos in the flags, and it sounds like a cool challenge!
By far two of the most creative simmers I’ve seen on UA-cam. Need more content 😅
been here since i think 80k.
so proud to see them getting the recognition they deserve
That hallway is a DREAM!!
I'm also positivley in love with the kitchen and teen bedroom 😍
