I first heard this song at my 1st grade talent show, around 6-7, and immediately feel in love with it, despite not knowing what it meant.I’m 13 know and I have cried to this. When I would Cry at 8-11 thinking my family would be happier if I never existed I would sing sad songs like this to comfort myself and let myself know I wasn’t alone. People who where brave enough to share their story’s with the world helped me through the worst bits of my depression and really bad thoughts. So, if your reading this, and feel useless, unwanted, unloved or not worthy of love now your not alone and you WILL get through this. Because their are people out there who care about you. Their are people who love and appreciate you. Be it extended family or friends. They care. And ALWAYS remember you are loved ❤

I know this isn't what the song is talking about, but I'm genderfluid, and everyday I struggle with people not wanting to accept me for me.

they played this song at my cousins funeral. It hurts me so much when everyone says how much alike we were, I never got the chance to really know him because our family had grudges. Every one was out of communication. Blade, we all miss you and love you. I hate myself for not pushing to meet you more, i thought about you the week before you passed. My cousins struggles with drugs and being sober took him from us, but he put up a hell of a fight. And he made good music along the way.

This song hits me extra hard. Growing up Peter Pan was my all time favorite movie (live version) and I grew up with very little structure or routine, so all I wanted from life was to stay young and have fun forever and as I got to be a teen it was hard for me to accept that soon I’d be fighting to make sure I can make a living so I wouldn’t be homeless. Life is hard. I feel like we all wish we could live for free and be happy and have great days every day full of fun and laughs with those we love. Keep pushing on whoever is reading this. ❤️
