I guessed correctly right off the bat. I think a straight neck makes a difference-fuller, clear and focused. Selmer horns will almost always have that little extra tone quality as well.
A was a cleaner sound to me but B seemed to be a little wider in tonal range but it was a little thing. I don’t know which I prefer but I do like both really well.

OMG I have SERIES II, I guess A is it, But I like B sound ~~~
The series iii is better than ii
I’m not much of a soprano fan but the Selmer was a bit warmer to me.
