For exaple. It's posible to bypass dialogue with Suzy in episode 1 and duel againts Juaraz in last episode. Also you missed some short way in episodes 4 and 7. I did not watch the video from start to finish, but I'm sure you can do it faster. Long to explain how, need to record it to show. You can also bypass the duel in episode 3, but it's a bit hard trick. You need to throw the fire lamp at the spot where he stands and Clyde will die before the start of the duel. @@pentaleks I actually messed around on my original European DVD copy (the pre-DX10 version) of CoJ a few weeks back. Couldn’t replicate the jump glitch (might have been introduced in updates?) but I did find a way to skip the sneaking section at the Ferguson ranch. You can whip climb over an invisible wall using a tree at the east end of the fence in front of the guarded ranch entrance. Once you get past the fence that way, you can climb above the “north” entrance (next to the cornfield) by whip grabbing a tip of a branch on the nearest tree, then climb and swing to scale the fence and the invisible wall on top of it. [Not sure if they fixed that in patches. Maybe they did?]
I had it when I was like 9... There were no dead apaches in the level IV and Billy acquired the bow from Calm Water in level IX... can't fing that version either
Ah yes, that’s the original (pre-DirectX10) European DVD version from late 2006. It has quite a few differences from the later versions, including an entire small level (where you swim down a river, right before the Billy horse-stealing level) that was removed.
@@marcowulliampopirers2216 There are some recordings showcasing tricks and glitches in Call of Juarez by a Ukrainian user named Aspirin18 that I know for a fact are the original version [or at least the original North American version, not entirely sure]. There is also a user named Scarto who has a whole playthrough with subtitles in Spanish and English audio, but plays with lower graphical detail settings.
You can make it better, if you knew how to bypass the few cut-scenes and go some out-maps. And it's not so interesting to look at the easy difficulty. By the way - good luck to you. :)
Thanks for your comments. I saw your posts in the SDA forums when I was researching to learn this game but I didn't know there were more tricks. Would you mind recording them? Easy can be "too easy" but this game has annoying AI, the randomness on the enemy damage sucks to deal with and in some episodes, like 14 for example, it would be wayyy slower to do in a higher difficulty. Maybe for a segmented speedrun a higher difficulty can make the run look more impressive but I don't care too much about that.

I read on a speedrun thread that you discovered an infinite jump glitch. How is that achieved? I would love to see a video demonstration.
