I like to mix in fruit preserves into plain yogurt. I control the sweetness and flavors! Plus adding in some fresh fruit and sliced almonds are the best

With the kite hill, I love adding in some protein powder, frozen fruit, and some almonds and letting it sit in the fridge overnight! It helps the frozen fruit melt and makes it super tasty! I also live in a warmer climate so I sometimes just let the fruit melt for 10 or so minutes on the counter!
I can totally get away with that too with the heat! 😅

Hi Kim, I’m not Vegan but I never eat my greek yogurt plain-it’s nasty. I always mix some sugar free pudding mix, sweetener and a few splashes of water and it turns out so yummy! then add toppings of course
If you don't like sourness/tanginess, avoid greek yogurts (like the first one), it's a lot stronger in that flavor. Aside from jazzing the Siggi ones up with fruit and such - try it in a smoothie! The creaminess and little extra sweetness is soooo good.

I was hearing about the MUSH from you and I finally bought some at Whole Foods. I am obsessed with the peanut butter. They now have seasonal flavors like Snickerdoodle and Pumpkin Pie. I hated the pumpkin pie but my mom loves it. I am one of those people who tries pumpkin spice every year, hoping I will like it. And I hate it. But, these oatmeal cups are so good!
You know what girl?!?! I don’t hate pumpkin spice BUT I’m wayyyy more of a “Holiday Flavor” girl! Like peppermint and cinnamon stuff!

How did I miss this? Glad you got your refrigerator sorted out. I love Sprouts produce. And they opened one much closer to our place. They're opening a Trader Joe's much closer as well. The joke is they had to find somewhere with the tiniest parking lot. Tomatoes change texture with refrigeration. Glad you didn't get flooded out! Love you guys!

I like the new fridge, it’s so big!!! I have a tip for cleaning the smushing…. 2/3 of water, 1/3 of alcohol, a teaspoon of dish soap and 2 to 3 drops of essential oil…. There you go 💁🏻♀️ in a spray bottle 😊

Hi Kim! The fridge looks great! We have a garage fridge too. We bought it when we bought our first house… in 1997!!! The house one is from when we bought this house in 2007. 2008? Anyway…That’s my expectation. They should last! I’m holding onto them for as long as I can 😆

I too do not love yogurt, but will use it in place of mayo in dressings and salads (egg) but can only make what I'll eat in one sitting or it will get watery. I love LG appliances!
Ohhh I’ve heard many use it for dressings or even like sour cream on dishes!

It’s our first stainless steel fridge and well and I discovered the fingerprint problem. It drives me crazy. When I clean it, it looks good for like a minute.

I have my reverse osmosis filter hooked up to the fridge. It’s been this way for 3 years and I have never replaced the fridge filter (which is $57) The reverse osmosis filter hooked up to the fridge means that the water and ice are both free of the toxic things that come in tap water. I leave the fridge filter in because it refuses to make ice otherwise.
20:03 almonds in general have a sour taste to them. yoghurt, too, has a sour taste but because of the creaminess of the milk, its not that bad. coconut has a sweet taste to it but the perfect creaminess amount. i think that cashew-coconut and then adding himalayan salt to it will get it tasting just like regular yoghurt. i have no idea how Kite Hill is surviving hahahah

I like the taste of Silk Soy yogurt, but it is high in sugar. I wish they made an unsweetened to use in baking or to flavor myself.

Yes, vegan yogurt is a no go lol. Have you ever tried putting protein powder in oats? I haven’t tried that yet, but I guess that wood up the proteins of oats. I’m like you, an oat girl all the way.
Yes!! Overall I’ve always been more of a fan of unsweetened oats but I have actually tried it a few times more recently and it’s really really good!! Especially as a dessert at the end of the night!
I found the chocolate oat malk at Grocery Outlet for $2.49 and decided to try it. The ingredients were amazing but the taste left much to be desired. It was very watery as well. I used it with chocolate KOS protein powder and ice in Vita mix to make it better. I love that there's no gums in it but it
Is definitely not for on it's own.

Malk is good o and expensive only because there is no gums in it. Most others have lots of oils and fillers which makes people boated and such.
Also most yogurts have sugar because they need it for the cultures to survive.

I dont care for vegan yogurt. I think I ate so much of it when I wasn't I'm over it. Haha love the new fridge and yes stainless steel appliances get so smudged up easily. Im still waiting on my new dishwasher. We ordered a black one. I use to have black appliances and miss them. We plan to over time replace all the stainless steel. Glad you got one from Costco. It sounds like you got a good discount on it.
Honestly I had never been a big fan of the stainless steel look but it’s definitely taken over hasn’t it?! It’s kind of hard to even find white or black appliances anymore! I am happy with this one though so far!
@KimberlyFlanagan it has. I remember when stainless was the expensive option. We chose basic black not black stainless steel and it was more than the stainless. I dont mind the look of stainless its just seems to get dirty and marked up so quickly. We were going to get black stainless steel but after watching a video on it we declined. It can scratch easily and it's not black all the way through.
I’ve been trying to find vegan protein yogurt that is still enjoyable and haven’t found one yet. I used to love Greek yogurt and relied heavily on it as a protein source. So far the only vegan yogurts I’ve liked don’t have any added protein.

17:51 the worst yoghurts are made with almond and soy. Especially when youre going for a greek style yoghurt
Coconut milk yoghurt is the go to. Have you heard of Coyo? Try to find that

I add a scoop of vegan yogurt to the baked oats cake mixture & you can’t even taste it. Swear!

I put frozen fruit in my yogurt. The yogurt freezes around the fruit and the sour taste disappears!

I’m sorry, but Kite Hill’s Greek yogurt tastes like ass 🤣. I will just get their regular, unsweetened yogurt and add vegan protein powder.
