I find the opposite is true for me, I usually get overwhelmed by all the info; then once I'm in I'm like this isn't soo bad (except Garduafrit; screw that fight D:)
A piece of advice about the Holy cast. When she's casting it, there will be a halo above her head with either one or four orbs on it. If it's one orb, then the attack stays in the center of the room. If there's four, then it'll spread like it did in the video, so you can stay near the boss for that sweet, sweet melee uptime.
So, neat fact: At the start of the final DPS-rush phase, the limit break gauge will fill to max automatically. So make sure to LB before then so you can take full advantage of that!
Something not mentioned: Physical DPS (including ranged) players will take damage if they attack the electric sprites so casters, healers and tanks (dmg is minimal for them) should focus those first and let any physical DPS go after the other types. These also seem to have the least HP so they are quite easy to kill even if your only DPS players are physical
Big same. I looked up this video specifically to find out how the hell Mirror Mirror worked lol. I thought it was something visual with the mirrors but they always looked the same
Something the video doesn't point out is that if you attack through the central crystal in the Flood of Light phase, it'll reflect the damage back at you.
If your party didn't manage to reduce her HP to 0.1% fast enough, she might cast "Embittered Dance" and possibly 1 other skill (not too sure); they're basically Scythe Kick and Axe Kick back to back, but I still don't know which skill results in which goes off first >.> For Mirrored Biting Frost, you want to run all the way away from both mirrors (look at the flake pattern on the floor). Mirrored Driving Frost, stand in between the mirrors, near the edge. Mirrored Axe Kick, out then sprint to middle. Mirrored Scythe Kick, in then love a mirror~ Also: we bite with our teeth (front), and driving emits emission (back). Twin Stillness and Twin Silence seems to cast different order of Driving Frost and Biting Frost
My first time doing this, and I rolled in in a DR. I let the opening cutscene play just so I could quickly pull up this video so we only wiped one time instead of five. >_>
There's another mechanic that is rarely seen unless DPS is very low, it's called Embittered Dance and Spiteful Dance and it does both Scythe Kick and Axe Kick, similarly to Twin Stillness and Twin Silence
I was checking to see if someone else noticed this cause I felt super salty when I saw this move and it wasmt in this video lol. Glad someone else saw it too
The kick and donut aoe - you don't really have time to dodge them just by the marker. Choice is either get ahead of those moves when they're coming or forsight/precognicience (?) :s
Ok Miz.... I know I am late to the party but your guides are usually much better than this. You barely touched on the Mirror mechanic, which is one of the more difficult to avoid, your explanations of Holy and Twin Stillness are straight up incorrect, and you didn't even mention Twin Silence, Embittered Dance, or Spiteful Dance. Was this guide rushed or something? Holy actually has 2 possible variations, one with the proximity aoe in the middle, and one with many on the edges. They always start with one in the middle, but can change mid cast to split them all at the edges instead. The way you judge which cast it is is by the number of orbs circling her head. If there is only one orb, the aoe in the middle will stay there, so move to the edges. If there is four however, the aoe in the middle is a fake, and you should move to the middle to avoid the aoes that will appear on the edges. Twin Stillness is NOT random. It is always Biting Frost, followed immediately by Driving Frost. Twin SILENCE on the other hand, is Driving Frost, followed by Biting Frost. Pay attention to the cast name. Embittered Dance is Scythe Kick followed by Axe Kick. Spiteful Dance is Axe Kick followed by Scythe Kick. Both of these occur really late in the fight and are easily skipped with high dps, particularly if the Shattered World phase was done perfectly. However, since they are still present on normal mode, this should have been covered in the guide, especially as they are tricky to avoid if you don't already know what they entail.
mirror mirror doesnt make sense to me, she cats biting frost so the safe zone is behind her like right in her hitbox and all the way back, so i would assume the mirrors do the same attack making it so the safe spot is directly on top of the mirror but it isnt, its on the oither end of the field. Her cast of biting frost covered everything in front of her, but the mirrors cast of biting frost doesnt cover the entire area in front of them. And like what happens then if 4 mirrors cast biting frost, is the entire field unsafe or just like 4 insanely small patches somewhere
of course the main thing i came here to understand isnt explained very well :( Mirror mirror is the only thing i have issue avoiding i know how they work just not how to figure out where to go :(
Your video guides are very helpful BUT please (i’m begging you) stop putting unnecessary spoilers in them!!! Viewers don’t need to know anything about special cut scenes in the encounter or what the next raid/trial/dungeon is going to be!
it always sounds so easy and once iam in, iam running around like a headless chicken
🤣
I find the opposite is true for me, I usually get overwhelmed by all the info; then once I'm in I'm like this isn't soo bad (except Garduafrit; screw that fight D:)
I usually just try blind to learn as I go. I just failed so spectacularly in Iconoclasm that I decided to come see what's up before trying this :D

yeah, I (MCH) found this out the hard way. 😑
these fights are so confusing for a first-time player, thx! XD
Now I understand Mirror Mirror lol... god I died so much to that the other day.

If anyone fails to dodge the gaze attack Redress they also suffer from the debuff: FBI Watchlist
I saw a comment somewhere once that if you don’t look away for redress it’s thancred that actually stuns you not ryne
If you didn’t look away, u get permanent bleed DOT from nose bleeding 🤣

These guides are just perfect. Clear, direct and concise.
Love the puns, too.

Thank you for the great and fast guide! Wishing you a great day
I struggle so much with mirror mirror
Damn...
Now I want the ability to redress job change in battle.
Like FFX-2.
Fancy transformations...
you were too late mizzteq, heavenly strike already knocked me off the platform T_T
Did you know if you look at shvia during redress Thancred personally shows up just to throw a flashbang at your feet?
Came for a pun int the intro, was impressed with how many you fit in. Well done.
I knew it would come to this.. but when that zenith music began to play i was still not prepared. TT.TT

Thank you
This woman is a professional punist.
The mirrors.......the mirrors.......
3:55 RIP , someone falling down
greatest boss ever
That first mechanic doesn't make sense. If YOU are a lady, shouldn't you look at Ryne and help her with her clothes?
Redress actually means to right a wrong
3:55 LOL
thanks
They missed an opportunity to have redress combod with mirror mirror, would have caused so many wipes 🤣🤣
Whoa there Satan
Maybe in savage?
@@blackmagichour yeah i found out later, but they did add this in savage, along with knockbacks being reflected too
all i hear is healers be ready
The only thing that killed me is that damned slippery ice and falling off the platform!
Killed both tanks at the same time first time it spawned. I was one of them haha

Why does this shiva look so much better than Ysyle Shiva
I love that mirror mirror attacks arent explained. 10/10
Me watching that part 4 times. Lol
If she comes back to her original outfit, we still need to look away right? cause she's a lady?
Ah thank you. I just got here. I'll watch this guide before I do it
How in the world doesn't this have more views?
1. she just uploaded this
2. most people are stuck on furor
3. most people are doing ruby weapon savage

on top of the mnirror and behind it is not the same thing. There would be a safe spot behind them, if there was a platform there.
what would i do without Miztek??
Why do you always end your videos with “if you have any questions or comments please let me know”, if you never reply to anything?
Because comments are good for the algorithm.
TheRealXartaX ah, makes sense..
And, while this doesn't really help with the video, she's actually very open to answering questions and helping out on her Twitch streams
"why do you end your videos with a nice common statement, if you don't reply to me as i demand?" ooookay
Answering questions on UA-cam alone would be a 24/7 job.
SHATTER!
of course the main thing i came here to understand isnt explained very well :( Mirror mirror is the only thing i have issue avoiding i know how they work just not how to figure out where to go :(
Hi
Hmm Shiva? Ice? Mirror, mirror? Weiss Schnee reference Square Enix ?
You know nothing about final fantasy at all.
Your video guides are very helpful BUT please (i’m begging you) stop putting unnecessary spoilers in them!!! Viewers don’t need to know anything about special cut scenes in the encounter or what the next raid/trial/dungeon is going to be!
we dont mind tho
Why watch a guide if you hate spoilers that much? Your logic contradict itself.
Fun fact: if you look at the boss during Redress and your character is female it will have no effect.
video starts at 0:30
