As I know, the main city in Attack on Titan is based on a German city called Nördlingen in Bavaria. And the names of many characters are also kinda German sounding, especially the last names. For example “Ackermann”, “Yeager/Jäger”, “Leonhard”, “Kirstein”, “Braun”, etc. but of course there are other names as well, originated from other countries. But I don’t think there are any Japanese names in it, except the the city names, I guess. I could be mistaken tho. And the full version of the first opening song “Guren no Yumiya / Feuerroter Pfeil und Bogen” has a whole German part in it.

i watched in both japenese and english dub and i must say they are very close , since almost same level then i prefer english dub for easier experience and more apreciation to animations then reading subtitles all the time

i don't know if you would read this comment but i have some opening recommendations: One piece openings 1-24, one piece is regarded by a lot of animes as one of the best animes of all time. Naruto 1-20 openings very popular show and is regarded as one of the best of all time like one piece. Black clover openings 1-13, black clover is a newer but popular anime. Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood openings 1-5, FMAB is one of my three favorite shows and i would recommend anyone to watch it it's great. Tokyo revengers openings 1-4, very new show but the story is amazing and doesn't have a lot of episodes yet so y'all could catch up very quick.
