- Last year i had the opportunity to make a short documentary with @ben_moon. I didn’t want to make another film about a white guy doing outdoor activities. I wanted to talk about mental health and how it deeply affected my life in the hopes I can open the door for some of you to seek help and/or not feel so alone.

As someone who deals with episodes of depression throughout his life in recent years - no matter the current situation - good or bad, Goth Babe's music has always found a way to uplift my spirits and get my mind out of the darkness.
His music is honestly medication for the soul it's beautiful
this film is so incredibly raw and authentic, it moved me to tears :') thank you for sharing a story that is so deep and personal. i also experience symptoms of ptsd and it's comforting to feel seen, understood, and less alone after watching your film. your music is so healing and always brings me into the present moment. i am so grateful to exist on this planet at the same time as your vibrant soul

hey griff! your music has been the light in some of the darkest of darkest days at the hospital. always bumping your tunes on the drive to and from work-and of course on some good powder days. 2020 was a little more bearable with your music. hope to catch you at a show one day

Just heard this guy’s music randomly on a A24 playlist, and honestly, it was something new I had never heard. Very chill wave vibes, can’t explain it, but definitely talent. If my music goes anywhere once I am done with this album, hopefully I’ll get to work with artist like him.
Every once in a while, I come across an artist that changes my perspecitve and helps shape a big chunk of my life. I'm so glad I discovered your music a few years ago. It seemed like I found your beautiful, healing, vibrant sount at the right time in my life. Music does something for me, nothing else really can. It's hard to explain, like the warm feeling of love. Let's just say you've been in my Spotify wrapped at the end of the year a few times now lol. I'm also grateful I got to see you live where I grew up, in Richmond, Va before we moved. But now you're about to come to my new city in a few months and can't wait to try and see you again!

I went over to my birthmothers house and i saw that they got a new puppy, they werent taking care of him properly, he didnt even have a name yet, they got him high, he had Parvo and they fed him human food, he didnt have toys so he played with cans and waterbottles, i felt bad and i took him from there i gave my brother 40 dollars because i didnt know what breed he was officially. My grandma would only allow me to have a dog if it was a german shepherd and a male, he is part germen shepherd and a male, but mixed with lab, i bought him off of my brother, got him his shots, gave him dog food, is potty trained, is partially trained (working on it, only knows the basics) and i tried giving him toys. He does play with them but when im playing with him otherwise he goes right back to the cans and waterbottles. Im glad i brought him this far he is a big goofy dog and my mom calls him her best friend hopefully she can consider trying to take him to classes because he doesnt get along with other dogs thats our only weakness besides him walking in front of us while we’re doing something. He has brought me so much joy and helped me through so much..right now we’re separated because we dont have a house at the moment, so he’s back at my birthmothers house and im staying with my auntie, she has dogs so it wouldnt work out, he doesnt get fed properly hes tied up sometimes and he’s sad that im not there all the time he’s being fed human food a lot more than what i would feed him, which is not often and is usually just banana pieces and some others he needs a bath too- all they have is dirt there so there would be no point they dont allow dogs inside and its just sad being there having to deal with that i miss my dog so much, when he is professionally trained and good with dogs i want to take him to the beach and have fun with him. Sorry i put so much. I miss my dog :’)

Just got out of inpatient psych stay for PTSD - super happy to see you out there living life.
