Dayle, your deep dive into the world of clutches in your latest video was not just informative, but also incredibly stylish! I love how you've shown the adaptability of different bags in your collection, transforming them into trendy clutches. Your tips on how to carry and style them, especially considering the practical aspects, were so insightful. It's refreshing to see how a classic accessory can be reimagined in so many chic ways. Keep these fabulous videos coming!
Fab video. Got a Ted Baker clutch for Christmas. Its hot pink which is why I wanted it. Large, envelope style. No idea when I'll use it as I don't go to many evening events. But it was pink & in the sale 😂🤷🏼♀️😁
Hi Lauren. How are you ? I can't remember if we had spoken since the New Year or not so a big 'Happy New Year' to you. I hope it is a great one for you. XX💖
love the idea. for a long time, i kept thinking i wasn't a clutch girl. thankfully i wanted the petite malle regardless, got it because i told myself if it doesn't work out, at least it looks beautiful, and keep it as decor. but that bag turned me into a clutch girl lol. so glad i bought it. Now I'm hunting down the Chanel 31 bag in black suede 😋 it's a bag i just oddly discovered and now obsessed.
Great take on the clutches, Dayle! I love the Fendi First as a clutch but now want to wear the baguette, especially the bigger one as a clutch too. Thank you for the inspiration ❤
My most used bag of all time is a designer clutch from Scanlon and Theodore. It’s around 20 years old and is in what caviar leather used to be. Indestructible. No branding very simple, large capacity. Used to be structured due to firm leather and is now softened. It is slim enough you could hold it under the arm and I used it instead of a shoulder bag for 15 years straight - for work. Before the days of your laptop being your constant companion. Definitely undone worn in and very stylish. I find the underarm hold much easier and leaves your hands free. I vote day clutch over hand held or shoulder bag every day!
Oh I have visions, sounds super chic and practical! My fave clutches years ago were ones big enough to fit flats in for when I had to do the walk of shame home... ha ha
I think there’s a whole video in the feelings generated by these loved and lived in pieces. I don’t get the same feelings with my new items. And that must spur buying more new things that you hope will bring back those feelings but they don’t. Hence my no buy (well no buy unless I sell something) as I really want to use my items. But the old worn in battered items, they are on a different level. Maybe it’s the association with the fun times when you’re young enough to do the walk of shame without shame. 🤫
@@kpops168 I feel like I don’t have enough lived in luxury that I’ve consistently used or can still fit.. the pieces I have that are oldest are around 12 years ownership but I’m not drawn to them the same way I was. I’ll pop it in the book for a few years time 🤣
Dayle, Great tips and styling options! I don't normally wear clutch bags but it was informative and you made me consider a different way to wear my smaller top handle bags with the "top handle reach through” : ). Thanks for sharing ❤
You look absolutely stunning in your purple shirt today but then you always do lovely Dayle. I don't go anywhere at night so no need for a fancy, little clutch but I love how you have shown us ways to wear the bags we already own as clutches during the day. You have such fabulous style and you always give us such great tips. Thank you. Much love. Jenni. XX💜💚💕
Jenni, one day you'll do an early evening when you're up to it! but wearing your bags as a clutch is so much fun, definitely try it out at the next Dr appointment!!
What a useful and helpful video! It was great to see how you styled your bags all the while not being a commercial for other products, such as clothing.
Excellent video! I have two clutch bags (YSL uptown pouch, both black-one silver hardware and one gold hardware) and I must admit I am getting really lazy, lately for every night out I take one of them! It’s just so easy! 🤦🏻♀️ So needed to hear your suggestions!
Hi Dayle…super video !!! Gave me ideas now to use differently my bags. BTW your style is always on point!❤ Maybe you can make a video of how you come up with your OOTD everyday, with all the clothing in your wardrobe how do you pick your OOTD?
I have actually been using clutch style bags for a long time now as I don’t carry a lot and it’s just easy to grab and go especially the mini Jodie and ones with wristlets as that’s even easier 🤷🏼♀️😊
Hi Dayle and happy New Year ! Your A McQueen and mini Fendi First clutches are so gorgeous . I knew Gary the pigeon would be included . I have a vintage clutch ( kind of rectangular box , made of satin from the early 60's ) . Inside you have small sections to insert your lipstick , your blush , you have a mini / thin cigarette box and one of the lids has a mirror . I only love to wear vintage clutches as a "go to the opera " accessory . Greetings from Paris
Such a fun video loved the advice I love clutch bags but become so frustrated with not being able to carry everything I need to be out for a few hours Thanks Dayle 💚💚💚💚
I recently purchased a dark chocolate brown XL Dante clutch from The Row so I could try out a really big slouchy silhouette and I love it so I’m happy to hear that it will still be a relevant style for 2024! Otherwise I’ll be clutching my medium Fendi First and my Birkin 30! I have a 20 year old McQueen skull clutch too that literally holds nothing so thanks for the inspiration on wearing it with separates that have pockets! Great tip Dayle💥 I’ll resuscitate my skull💀
@@DaylesAddiction I've ordered a Litter Quitter for my cats, so animal sh!t is foremost on my mind. (It will train them to use the toilet like most civilised people. IDK why it's taken me so long to take this initiative, slow learner I guess.)
May I suggest a ByTheWay? A few months short of turning 10 years in store, it was Fendi's response to the clutch craze we were having between fall 2011 and fall 2014 (before mini bags took over) and the immediate predecessor of the Fendi First. BTW, your purple top is perfection!!!
Have you ever done a video on colors working as neutrals? I’d like to add a bag with a pop of color, but be able to use it as a “neutral”. I’m thing green?
Such beautiful eye candy! That is a great tip to think about what you are wearing so you can bring a bit more!
Some of my fave pieces 🥰

So many great clutches here, and hard to pick a favourite….but The Favourite was so cool and understated. What a handy bag!
I agree the understated becomes a statement
Your Petit Malle is shouting my name!! 🤩
I've done the runway clutch hold many times. I love the look!
It’s a vibe Tan!
Your dress today was spot on, was living for it.

1. your blouse is 💕 2. I love me a clutch! Personal favourite is my Coach Wyn clutch in wine and I use my LV as a clutch often ❤️

The purple blouse is perfection and when you lift up each bag against it they all just pop 😍. PS Gary is no novelty …
