I was going to say why not grow your garlic in pots, just like growing strawberries in terricotter pots that have holes for individual plants that you walked by in the garden centre, thinking that you could do with a bigger greenhouse as well.😀🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️

Hi Jessie. I couldn't really find any garlic, either. I was ordering mine too late in the season. Luckily, I have a friend who grew his own and gifted me 5 heads of plump, beautiful hard neck garlic. I live in the north east part of the US, and believe it or not, just planted my garlic. Lily really seems very fond of you and your mom. She's such a beauty, especially with her winter coat.

Oh my word where has this year gone!! I had problems getting hardneck garlic back in October and also snowdrops. I saw some manky bulbs in our local garden centre, 5 bulbs for £9.99. no thankyou. I hope last years come up again. I bubble wrapped my greenhouse too today and also was considering bubble wrapping myself...they've given -8deg here in Scotland on Thursday 🤣 The rest of the day I put fleece over everything, even if it didnt need fleecing. Not taking any chances. I think the wreath looks lovely. Just enjoyed everything about the vlog. Cheersing you with an orange gin and lemonade. Keep warm Jessie!

    Love the wreath refurbishment.
Even in California, which grows almost all its own garlic, garlic prices have doubled. My last bundle of garlic I bought I believe was 1/2 the bag size for the same price. I have been planting that garlic for years now. I take the biggest cloves from each bulb and plant those.
Today, while clearing up some of the garden, I discovered that my pineapple guava had fruit and they are delicious!

Hi Jessie did you see Charles dowdings method of holding up the bubble wrap, he just uses a short bit of cane wedged between the metal bits of the greenhouse and they can go at an angle if they’re a bit wrong sized and they just kind of bar-wedge the bubble wrap against the glass. Legend!

….. Lovely !!… Tea and crumpets for breakfast Yum !!…Have the very same for mine from time to time…except that our family have always called them ‘Pikelets’ ?!… musts be a ‘regional’ thing….actually just looked it up… originally from Welsh word ‘bara pyglyd’… then ‘migrated’ to the West Midlands as pikelets… and also further ‘up north’…anyway, totally ‘delis h’ with oodles of butter… or at tea time with butter and salmon/ beef/ chicken ‘paste’… (that come in those little glass jars..if you know what I mean??!)…. And yes!, it is very cold here too… and I could see the chilly breath demo in the vlog ‘Brrr’… No wonder the Girlies were reluctant to appear from their cozy hen house👍👍…and the ‘lovely Lil’ hanging around for the plateful of moggy treat before you left😃…The saga of the elusive ‘hard necked Garlic was very frustrating… and well for Forgergills for actually having some and also describing them properly👍👍….and cheaper 👍👍!!…stupid prices !!!…Good job on the Wreath ‘makeover’… using foraged greenery (me too 👏👏)… so much better , I think…Finally pleased that the Kiln Wrangling was so smooth and successful…and having it on the trolleys means you just trundle it back , when the repairs done .. brilliant!!… Well, Christmas is almost ‘upon us’….season of ‘Cold Turkey’, ‘Cold Noses’ ..And ‘Cold Comfort Farm’ (favourite book)…thanks to Great Uncle ‘ScrewYooge’at Westminster and Co!!!…Actually,I will be very ‘Merry and Tight’ myself🤣🤣…despite everything…and ‘stuff them’ instead of the Turkey !!!…Hope you will manage to do some festive ‘recipes’ before then…Cheers Jessie and all at Plot 37…🤶🎄Sue(Birmingham)…Pikelets forever!!!

We are quite cold here in Wales now withs lows of -3 which is very u nusual.
I got 50 British softneck from Amazon. Took a few dayd but they went into a couple of tubs. I ordered a second batch as our neighbour loves garlic and we use some of her garden.....have to push myself to plant them. Not sure if softneck needs a cold snap though.
