Nice tractor the max xl & xlt especialy might be a perfect unit. With flip up hood, cast iron rear ends , two 2 ,yes TWO brake petals and a clutch pedal, 3 speed hydostatic or 8 speed synro × forword & reverse. Very good 3 point lift cap, high cap. , hydrolics excellent ergonomics, front loadet capacity almost too much. Only two flaws; the cost cutter flimsy single stand loader support ,almost dangerous! I almost bought a new unit 3 times. Just needs linkage bars on loader and two stands , I'll pay 500$ gladly for those two features Mahindra Co. Then this will absolutly be the best in it's class.
Only 2 speed hydrostatic on the 26xlt, I wish it had 3 like the kubota other than that I love it! The mower deck is extremely heavy built and I really like the new drive over ramps.
I have a xl, I've never had an issue with the single kickstand, it's actually amazingly stable, most of the weight sits on the bucket so the kickstand won't even sink into soft ground. The amazing lift capacity over other tractors in this class is due to the fact that the bucket sits 2 feet or closer to the centerline of the tractor (then the competition) One negative, I know everyone thinks a one piece hood is soo cool, but.... Wrong. I'd rather have less things to smack my head on when checking oil, filter gauge, which is right on top of the engine, any maintenance done, I'd rather snap off the side panels and sit them aside.
Hate that rocker pedal. Looking for this hp tractor in an in between sub and something like the 1626 and this fits that. However, yes I hate the pedal that much to be looking hard at the Kioti 2610. The JD 1026 is a great deal with a backhoe but a tad small and power some what watered down.
I’ve been looking at a 1626 and I was wondering has mahindra changed the paint from the past I’ve noticed a lot fading pinkish color? even new ones on lots fading. Not saying it effects the machine but if I invest a lot of money into It i won’t it to stay looking new even after being used
Good afternoon Jason I don't think much has changed on some of the Mahindra Tractors the worst that I have seen is on the 2555 on the inside next to the seat close to the fenders they always get to be a pink shade. The only thing that I can tell you sir is once you get your tractor try to keep it out of the weather as much as possible and take care of it like you would have vehicle. If you get on the Mahindra Tractors owners group on Facebook they have a lot of good info on keeping your tractor red but if it ever does go pink sir just remember breast cancer awareness LOL
On my 2016 Max 26 only the loader (made in korea) has any sort of fade, the paint from mitsubishi is still flawless and it spent 2 years on a dealers lot in the sun every single day before I bought it. Seems like the Korean stuff has some fading issues.

can you do a video explaining the abbreviation for the trim names ? xlt? xl? im trying to understand why they named it such name

The Mahindra website says the 26XLT will pick up 2315lbs on the front loader...
Is that accurate?

Looked at one last year that's been sitting outdoors for about 4 months. The entire hood is pinkish looking from fade. I was far from impressed.
@@ShooterinOK same problem on the powdercoaded loader. But paint holds up. I would ceramic coat the whole thing new.
@@Aceman597 I ended up buying a Kubota. It's a bit lighter than I wanted but it's been great to work with :)
