I love doing this hairstyle when my curls are not poppin and my hair is dirty but I’m too lazy to wash it. The gels make you hair very stiff, I personally like it just so it stays in place but if you’re not a fan of that I’d recommend using a pomade, it still slicks the hair but doesn’t turn it stiff
