The ending of the new Descendants film, The Rise of Red, concluded rather quickly, with the audience still feeling like there was more story to tell. Unlike the other films, where things don't go precisely as Mal and the other VKs planned, The Rise Of Red differs, with every problem seemingly resolved by the end credits. The abrupt ending leaves fans wondering how things could have gone differently and what other conclusions could have provided more depth for the story’s ending. In today’s video, we will discuss six alternate endings for the newest installment of Descendants that could have left the audience on the edge of their seats.

I think that even without Chloe and red, uliana and her group probably still got frozen. And just because Chloe was there to break Ella’s stepmothers vase (preventing her from going to castle coming) Ella was probably the one who pulled the prank. But because Chloe prevented her from going to castle coming. Red and Chloe turned their energy to the wrong people.
The issue with this theory, is that later on, after Chloe broke the vace, Chloe and Red looked though the looking glass, which shows the future, and the Queen of Hearts was still evil, and the coup and Cinderella's death still happened.
If u didn’t see, Chloe and Red took the book with them, and that changed the future. So if they didn’t take the book with them, Uliana and her grp that got frozen will go back to get the book and get someone with no evil intention to open the book and allow excess to the contents in the book to conduct the prank. Hence, Red and Chloe did change the future and found the right grp of ppl that was going to do the prank on Bridget.

During the film, I was thinking the entire time that Ella was responsible for turning her into the Queen of Hearts. It sounded like they were dancing around the fact that the prank was played by Ella. And after seeing Ella get in trouble because of the girls, I thought she would be the one to prank Bridget. I mean Uliana and her group couldn't have possibly opened the book. So, how did they pull the prank? It had to be someone else who did it.
Exactly what I was thinking watching it.
I actually believe that the spell on the book is actually a consequence of red and Chloe traveling through time or they might have had fay as well
Waiiiitttt!!!! What if Bridget also turns into the queen of hearts because even after the prank red and Chloe ditched her. We also might conclude that Ella ditched her as well for Prince Charming! So she got humiliated and instead of comforting her, her friends ditched her!!!

I'm thinking this played a huge part in her dark turn and not that little prank. It's something about what the Queen said AND HOW SHE SAID IT to Cinderella about the "cruelty". And abandonment by your only friend that you already are on the mend with because of the betrayal with that prank, she"steals" Bridget's crush, Prince Charming, and then totally leaves her with no friends or companionship. All this helped turn her. "LOVE AINT IT". That prank didn't turn her heart away from love, having her heart broken by Rella and Prince Charming did that.
I have a theory
The only reason why Bridget became evil is because she felt betrayed by everyone and alone. Since this happened we can take the Cinderella story, in which Ella wouldn’t have been allowed to attend the ball and she would have then met her fairy godmother, Fay who’s her friend, Bridget would have been attending the ball alone and would have no friend. She could then have been looking for Ella and when she sees Ella arriving in a gown she seems happy for her as she sees the prince being interested in her, but then again she would still end up alone so when the Charming and Ella go on the terrasse to sing so this is love, Bridget on her own could have been ending up surrounded by the VK trying to make her eat the cupcake in a Snow White esque scene and Ella seeing that the clock striked midnight she accidentally pushes Bridget on the cake in an attempt to escape and Bridget sees the event as a betrayal as she’s turning into a monster and Ella just leaves her alone as if they weren’t friends anymore, this is the moment she could have decided to turn evil because even Charming is chasing after Ella, when everyone mocks Bridget whose now turned into a monster she could also be so mad that she decides to behead people.
So preventing the VK’s appearance at the ball may have made a lot of events not happen such as :
- in an official book, they talk about Uliana in the past tense and since she is nowhere to be found during the first 3 movies, my theory is that Bridget is the one who beheaded her, her first “off with her head” where Uliana was her first victim and ever since she took An appetite in doing so, and by this event Maleficient might have been becoming the head of the VK
- Bridget and Ella would still have been friends, so I believe Red and Chloe could have grown up together and Chad could have became a whole different person and that event would leave Audrey alone in the 3rd movie
- Bridget never beheaded anyone, so Wonderland would never have been banned from Auradon Prep and the war between Wonderland and Auradon would have never taken place so basically Wonderland would be a part of the United States of Auradon.
- if Uliana was never beheaded there might have been a chance Maleficient would have remained insecure, so Aurora would never have been cursed and Mal probably would have never existed or could have been raised by both of her parents but Maleficient would not have made the Sleeping Beauty story happen so Mal and Ben probably wouldn’t even meet and that means that Uma could have been the one ending up with Ben since she would have been the meanest VK
- Alice in Wonderland could probably have never even issued a story in which the queen is mean so the world of Wonderland could be totally peaceful and even loving
- Probably a different the Little Mermaid story, a lot of couple could have been replaced or mixed together
Also Uliana would still probably be seeking her revenge sooo..
And messing with the original timeline could duplicate Chloe and red as they aren’t originating from the new timeline or as said in the video bring new memories to them

There are a lot of quotes proving she’s mad at everyone in Auradon because not only did they humiliate her but she also was left alone so?
Also in the ending they only stopped Uliana and it seems like Bridget didn’t change so it definitely cannot only be because of Ella
but there is a chance she just left ulianna and the crew with hades because her friend were cruella,jafar and the evil queen she also mentioned she used her head so maybe it wasn’t because of ulianna so make and Ben would still be together
Ohh really nice theory with the original timeline especially the part where Elle may have accidentally been a part of the prank... And with the new changes in the future really detailed! I hope they consider these possibilities in the next instalments
They made it this way so that they could keep it open for it’s sequel, in which, most of our questions will hopefully be answered
I'm thinking the only difference at the end with Bridget is that she's now more of a loving mother to Red. Her villainy could be more subtle so others wouldn't be able to tell. And for the next film, Chloe could see that and know that something's still off about Bridget. But, Red will be conflicted on believing Chloe because she finally has the mother she always wanted.
I agree also the queen of hearts dress when she is reformed is literally just white in the front and red in the back. Same as the dress when she was evil, but white in the front. That’s lazy costume designing because the original trilogy had different dresses or costumes for different scenes, even when Mal changes back into a human when she turned into a dragon for the first time, her cotillion dress is different and way more purple and magic-like. The queen of heart’s dress isn’t different from when she was evil. The only difference is that it’s white in the front. There isn’t a completely different dress or color or look to it.
There is unknown consequences like Uma may change if Uliana took her under her wing and taught her her magic and evil ways. We don’t know how Cinderella and charming really changed. We just saw them for a moment. The fac5 that the queens dress what a mix of colors, red white and pink, it could mean all is not what it seems. Also theories suggest Bridget has an older sister. Who know as supposedly there is a 5th movie in the works

She should but with Disney logic Bridget and Ella might not remember them cuz it was years and they got busy ruling their own kingdoms. So they might've not remembered.
The only reason the prank never happened was because the girls have the cookbook with all the magical recipes with them. Ironically, that was what caused the butterfly effect. Now, being a paradox in the new timeline. my theory is that we're gonna meet someone that's worse than the queen of hearts. If Bridget (still recon her title is still the queen of hearts) is good now, someone has to be evil that was previously good to counteract that change. The universe will always balance things out. Plus, we dont know what's different in this timeline. It would have made sense if the Villians keeped trying to get revenge on bridget when she was younger. However, we don't know as the cut the story short. Maybe theyll fix it or we end on that cliffhanger.
Your right. Magic always comes at a price no bigger magic than time travel. Uma still invited a vk and if red wouldn't of been one in new timeline maybe wicked witch daughter shows up. Queen of heart was never trapped in wonderland in this one. Or perhaps we deal with doppelganger from new timeline and only one can exist at a time
We really need a solid ending with no cliff hangers or something that tells us what happens to all of those involved. I really wanted to see Uliana come back out of no where in the end and be like, “Ohhhh Uma, it’s your Auntie, did ya miss me.” With her posing with all the villain kids all grown up now and we could see Maleficent back in the mix as well the others seeking revenge for what the girls did cause Uliana knows they went back into the past.

My money is on what one of the Content Creators said about Uliana being alive and wanting to humiliate or hurt Bridget for revenge. I agree that this would happen in the end.
Disagree with evil Cinderella, she always has stayed Humble and pure. Even though her family was mean. Charming still would have married her actually. Even I'm still Pure despite people causing me pain or not getting what I both want and need.
You do realize there other versions of Cinderella where she killer?! So I don’t disagree with evil Cinderella because there different versions of her 🥰🤦♀
I actually did enjoy the video. Here's some more input on your theories. Remember, time travelers and especially those by magical means, can and probably are immune to memory wipes(which means they are the only ones who remember the prior timeline). Also, probably due to magic, there are probably a new set of memories to access through a spell or two for the time travelers or knowledge of the new timeline is implanted into their minds and the memories of the prior become secondary over time and eventually will fade. Hope this mixes well with theories.

My theory is that Ella pulled the prank
-she HATES royals but is friends with the nicest one, aka she’s easy to hurt
-she always gives dirty looks when Bridget leaves the scene, aka she actually hates her
-only good people can grab the book, Ella is a “good” person therefore she can use it
-Ella in the future it guilty? She apologizes for the prank, meaning SHE PULLED IT
-Bridget says “they’re all 2 faced and too fake” meaning ALL of them including Ella
-Ella doesn’t let Chloe get a word in after asking about the prank, like if SHE DID IT

I thought that Ella pranked her because The Queen Of Hearts talks to Cinderella like she did the prank. She says “humiliating a girl at her dance, now that’s just cruel.” and “You didn’t care then. You were off with your prince” to Cinderella. And Cinderella says “it was a stupid prank”, so what happened? Did Ella prank Bridget?

Did u guys catch the credit ending too with the song I think it was ‘almost there’ from princess and the frog or just me. I think they cut it out because that sound track with I think Brandy who plays cinderella singing it is nowhere to be found or listened to again
This is why I hate time travel when it comes into a franchise late into it. As for changes, there wasn't any children of Uliana or Mordred originally, so maybe their children will take center stage.
Ohhh yeah. No doubt Uliana was imprisoned on The Isle too like her sister Ursula. And discover if Uliana has a VK and if Uma has a cousin.
From what i can tell from movie. Uluanna bullies bridget but bridget still tries to be friends with uluanna. Know matter what uluanna does it doesn't seem to change bridget. Further more uluanna couldn't open book. Chloe and red leave before dance.
Number 4. It is possible ella became different but that means chloe was never born.
Number 5 chloe and red memory might of been changed. If bridget and ella were best friends its possible red and chloe grew up together in this new timeline.
My guess is that it was more than just the prank. Ella takes bridget to dance then ditches to be with prince. Thus ella wasn't there for bridget when she got pranked with plan b prank vk used on bridget. Two face and too fake. Bridget was left all alone humilating.
What changed the future was uluanna some how got brought to future so she wasn't there to prank bridget.
Bridget didn’t turn mean because of the prank it was because no one was comforting her so red and Chloe should have let them do the prank it they should of stayed and helped and comforted her
They could’ve fully restarted the franchise, changing the future so Mal never came to Auradon, it would explain her not being around for future installments while allowing new students to come out in a similar story arc

@@qh8079 I knew abt most of that but I recall Dove leaving the door open to come back at some point. Chyna was actually closer to Cameron than most of the others were but she didn't feel the way that they did abt another movie. We'll see if Dove and the others change their mind over time

I was so hoping for a Bridget x Ella scene. There was tension and then after Chole and red change the past, Bridget and Ella ended up finding more in common with each other than anyone else. We could have had Red and Chole as sisters and Cinderella as another Queen of hearts ruling beside Bridget.

I don't think the memory effects from the change of time will be playing in the part of a possible next part of the movie's story, the time traveler will still remember from the old timeline, only the people around her will not remember the timeline events that no-longer happened, so this comes down to the question of either Red's memory will become a fundamental one due to a time-anomaly effect(Which happened to Kyle Reese in Terminator Genisys) or her memories only stay with the old timeline since she is not from the alternate timeline(Sort of what was like for Marty McFly and in the BTTF franchise after his time travel adventures)

Also can we talk about Chloe not knowing her mom’s story?! In the original films all of kids ( Aks and Vks) knew their parents origins, even the side characters. So it suprises me when Chloe doesn’t know her mom’s story.
they need to start putting in at the end of each film "look out for continued adventures in '--fill in the blank book title--" since a book takes place between the movies. without the books, it can give the fans whiplash with the turns the stories start at.

not to mention, people have children with similar people. For instance, Hades and Malificient had Mal. They were both villians. The mean queen would have picked a mean guy to conceive Red with. A nice Queen would not have picked the same guy so Red should look entirely different.
If they went to Merlin, then we wouldn’t have the iconic song life is sweeter because they would’ve just told Merlin hide the cookbook. He would’ve hit it and that would’ve been the only thing needed to be done.

I disagree, bc that ending was very suspect. Changing that the villains were captured instead of pulling the prank suggests that something way more wild could have and should have happened. At the very least, Red would have a different father (or probably wouldn't even exist). The Queen of Hearts probably wouldn't have had Wonderland to rule, but if she did, she would done it differently so Red would have been more welcome to Aurodon.
Also, I feel like the prank they stopped may not have been the prank we were concerned about. Like what if the "monster" it turned her into was not like a beast, but it was bringing out her "inner evil" which should still technically still be there. There are a lot of questions. So even though I didn't think that it was as good as the first series, I am now unfortunately invested and need answers.

The full timeline doesn’t work between in descendants 1, it was 16 years after sending all the villains to the isle then between descendants 1 & 3 it’s a year, but descendants 4 is suppose to take place 13 years later so why is Chad still in college

Uliana couldn't open the book in the first place. I was sure that they used Ella to pull out a prank on Bridget and that's why she hated her so. The ending had no lesson in it either. Your mother is evil? Just *force* her to become a totally different person! Makes sense.

Is it possible that the queen of hearts Bridget and Cinderella Ella wasn’t nice to each other when they came to Auradon there were 2 pranks I saw when when Bridget brought the glass shoes of Cinderella’s and it was destroyed and in the past that positivity Bridget got cupcakes for magic and Uliana took all the feathers knowing that she did that just to take the revenge on Ella and Bridget if you have a best friend then your friend is going down with you that is how that works

I found that movie awfully bad written. All those plot holes, the whole movie didn't make any sense, and to be honest I don't see how a sequel can undo that. I was so disappointed after watching. Alone the plot of Merlin acadamy and them attending the school - it destroyes the plot of Belle and Beast uniting the kingdoms cause in a way they are already united, when they have a school. It is so frustrating!
