great choices! for a good mix of fun and reliability, go with the g37 i loved it as my first car. just check to make sure proper maintenance has been done, especially on the transmission fluid as the transmissions tend to go out first on these.
Lexus GS350 is a car i would definitely check out. The 2007-2011 models are more luxurious less sporty but still quick. The 2013-2015 models are what im looking at right now as my next vehicle. The f sport models look dope and are legit fast.
I say the honda accord is an amazing option but if possible get the 4 cylinder option instead because it is way more reliable especially for an automatic transmission, it have great power too. It is also better for gas milage, cheaper to fix, more reliable engine. Overall very balance and it doesn't sound cool like v6 but it is just as powerful but slightly worse in term of HP but hey it will last for like 2-300 k miles. Goodluck with picking your first car. Just my personal opinion.
The car market is honestly very weird right now, but can be a great time to buy on the low end. I encourage you to not go on UA-cam and ask for help to purchase a new luxury vehicle, it seems kind of snobby. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t buy something unique though - buy old cars. They’re cheaper to buy, insure, maintain, and you’ll learn how to work on a car because many things you can do yourself. I’m 18 and am on my third car, a 1999 Saab 9-3 Viggen, and I have learned so much more driving and fixing this car than owning something new and crazy electrical. It doesn’t have modern comforts, but has the necessities and a 5 speed manual for some good fun. You’ll look way cooler with something unique from the 90s / early 00s.
Out of the selection provided. G37 or Lexus. The most spirited of the cars you’ve covered and the most fun. If you want to practice losing traction in them, make sure to do it in a safe and controlled environment is all.
A lot of cars that I would recommend are rear-wheel drive. I do like the Lexus though. it’s fast, more reliable than the Infiniti, and still looks sick! The Miata does seems like a good option too!
@@theydkTim Fair enough i don't think their that popular in the US and they aren't being made anymore. Holden is an Australian car brand and are real popular in both AUS and NZ.
I know this isn’t on the list but check out the 90’s Honda civics, very cheap and reliable. 30+ mpg’s. They can make good power and they’re just really good first cars. Also get a manual for any of these cars if you can.
Toyota is the most reliable car brand in the world. Affordable, economic, low maintenance, safe, and durable. Those are my two scents. Hope that helps. As a fellow young man myself, I'm still researching about cars, and the most attractive and probable choice for me is Toyota. Best of luck, and may you thrive.
When I was 17, I drove a combine in wheatfields. Also, did side jobs like mowing lawns. Before the end of summer, I spent the 2000 I saved, and bought a 1996 Dodge Dakota.. The economy sucks, don’t get me wrong, but at least put in some effort kid. Jesus..
@ if your saving 3-5k and you like JDM style cars, I would personally look at the Lexus sc300 or sc400. They’re older, but can fall in that price range. Also, very cool to work on and pretty simple mechanically, although, expect the price of imported parts to skyrocket after global tariffs are in affect.. happy hunting bruv 🤙
IS350 is more expensive for a reason it's much faster. Buy a Corolla or Camry, don't know why you're coming on UA-cam asking for money to buy a luxury vehicle. Remember to think about maintenence costs, insurance, and fuel type/consumption. I love my IS350 but it drinks lots of premium and oil changes cost 100$ if u choose to take it in.
The lexus is350 is more expensive then the is250 for a reason. Theyre MUCH faster. Literally 100 more HP. Its like the difference between a Infiniti g37/infiniti g25. But also the is250 is not as reliable as the is350.

I'm not into cars so I just got myself a nice cheap 2k one from Facebook. Saves me a lot of money.

My pick would be either the accord or the lexus 👍
