@@FuckYourFeelings914 I found someone who understands this. I remember he did a new filtration test with the Bissell Air Ram which has its exhaust near the floor and it did absolutely horrible. Robot vacuums are the same. Without proper filtration.
I bought a Eufy 11S 3 years ago. I had to replace the battery once for $20 but it works like champ. Recently on Eufy Ebay store I picked up a refurbished eufy G32 Pro for $65. It looks identical to the 11S but it does have wifi and the phone app. They said refurbished but it looked brand new. So, now I have one for each floor of the house.
Someone donated a brand-new Roomba 692 to Goodwill for $15. All it needed was a new cord; and it works! I connected it to WiFi; and the person before me only used it for 2 minutes on Black Friday.
I tried a Shark with lidar from Costco and their navigation seemed absolutely terrible. After entering a relatively difficult area (like dining room chairs) it would get in a loop doing the same paths over and over, unable to exit using the path it entered on. And eventually it starts ignoring the bump sensor to shove furniture and create a way out. And that's a model *with* lidar, do you'd think it could see obstacles and measure clearance. I don't know how they screwed up nav so badly. And don't get me started with their "barely checking the boxes" app!
It would be interesting to see you apply the same particle monitoring device to the output air of the robot vacuums that you use on your air filter tests, so that we can see which vacuum filters the best/produces the least dust.
Hi, can you please add robot vacuum dimensions in tests as well. Width, height and height including protrusions such as LIDAR sensor. It would be much appreciated since those specs are also quite useful, especially because many vacuums are getting quite big and many are hiding such information. I am following you for last 5 years (starting with first roomba comparison) and I hope this would be yet another simple but worth improvement. Regards
I just bought my first Robot Vacuum, and opted for a Roborock S5 max refurb, for around $270. Not quite as cheap as these in this video, but a really good robot and much more efficient and feature-rich.
I’m wondering why you didn’t include Yeedi Vac Hybrid. It’s selling under 250 dollars. Especially in Europe Region, you could find lots of really good deals on robot cleaners, such as I bought xiaomi vacuum mop 2 which is a camera based smart navigating robot vacuum and mop, 200 euros. And yet there’s Yeedi Vac Hybrid which is 180 euros. This vacuum is the same features and interchangable parts with ecovacs, n8-10, t8-9.
I have a silly question - How many robot vacuums do you have now? Also, what are you planning to do with all these robots? Ok that was two questions, but it's something I've been curious about. Kthx love you. 🙂
@@VacuumWars thank you for the great source of information, may I make a video request? Hey, I wanted to give you a video idea, and I think many would also want this: - Make a video where you create your so called best robot vacuum by combining different functions and design choices. If anyone has a design choice, write it, I‘m genuinely interested. Meanwhile here is mine: - Robot design like the Roomba S9 (since its D-shaped, and very high power and performance numbers) - AI Camera from the Roomba J7 (because of its lights) - Navigation, tbh this doesn’t really matter to me, since I have had both Lidar and Vslam, both systems work, you don’t notice a difference. - Mop raising function from the Roomba J7 (its better than lifting off a couple of millimeters from the floor) - A base like the base from the Roborock S8 Ultra (because it’s and open design with heavy and sturdy looking water containers) I think this sums it up, I would be content with a Roborock with more power and a D-shape, I hate the round robots. Reason being -> they don’t clean the entire carpet, if the carpet is pushed against a wall… Anyway, if you‘ve read all of this, well then have a good day :D

I've tried to the robovacs in the last 6 months for more than $150 that don't work as well as the one that I bought for $100 4 years ago. Now they all have only one brush. Better at not getting stuck but worse at cleaning.
Thanks for the great video! Do you think you con do one comparing the S7 vs Q7 Max? They seem so similar and I keep finding conflicting informationin how well they actually clean compared to eachother.
Both my robovacs have issue's with bright sunlight being cast onto the floor through the doors and windows. They often get themselves stuck when the sun suddenly pop's out from behind a cloud when they are in certain positions in a given room as the if the drop sensors are being triggered. I know first world problems but i just wondered if this is something that affects all brands/models? I have an ecovacs n79s and a eufy g30 verge. Great video's btw:)

a bit more expensive than the other two? lmao what a joke statement. The Roomba tax is at least 30% more than its segment competitors going by amazon. And that goes all the way down the line. Almost no robot vac will have filtration equivalent to an upright's HEPA filtration. Maybe just the newer dyson ones

they do, if you are willing to pay about $50 more than an entry level lidar smart robovac; which would be a really stupid thing to do.
