The boys are sent to a mountain camp in a small rural town. When, they hear about a "monster killer" roaming the countryside, they sneak out to find him!
I just sat down today and watched a couple of episodes, I remember how much my dad and I watched them together when I was a young teen growing up and we laughed so hard together, I know it made my dad happy.... I lost him 20 years ago, but it feels like yesterday.... So in memory I watch them to celebrate the memory of my father.
I also used to watch these with my father. This is the magic of PizzaFLIX.

Here's one, that I guess I was 'gyped', of. I never seen this, even as a kid. I loved the spooky setting, especially if it includes Bela Lugosi 🧛😊!!! Try watching "GHOSTS ON THE LOOSE", which has a scary atmosphere, too!! And with Bela, no less. Oh, and BTW, my Dad used to watch them, with me. From "The Dead End Kids" to The "Bowlery" Boys😁…………
Have been watching this since the 60s when I was a kid: ......After all of these years @ 68, I still love them!!..Always loved them as The Dead End Kids too!!.

Ernie'Sunshine' Morrison died of cancer July 24, 1989, 72 years. I and my brother never missed a one of these movies ,we are 79 / 81 yrs now.

Donald Haines as skinny in this one, it was his last movie, he was in us army air corp, killed in 1943, north africa,,,he was also a little rascal , our gang early sound ones,,,
I watched these as a kid & I still love them.
I was hoping to see more of Bobby Jordan's cute little ass in this film...but lo and behold I was very disappointed!
Sure was nice seeing Bela Lugosi playing the good guy for once! These East Side Kids movies were always such a treat. David Gorcey was also given a big role here too.
Try watching "ONE BODY TOO MANY"!!

Nothing beats the classics as far as comedy goes, that is for sure.
I watched reruns of Eastside Kids up til the earily 80s. It is as amazing as it was then even at my age.

Love these guys. Love these old shows I grew up watching as a kid. These were so much fun to watch. Never knew what they would do next. These were clean and fun to watch. We need more of these to watch thanks for bringing them back so we can see them again.

I hope Mr. Lugosi enjoyed working with the Boys as much as I'm sure they enjoyed working with such a legend. You can see several instances where he couldn't help but to smile...

Dave O'Brien (camp counselor)....is the same guy who wants the piano music, "Faster!, FASTER!"...in "Reefer Madness". . . . Angelo Rossitto (the dwarf)....had a very long career....His first major film appearance was in Tod Browning's "Freaks" (1932). And was also "Master" (of the 'Master-Blaster' combo)...in "Mad Max, Beyond Thunderdome."
There was a really old guy here last week that looked just like that dude. He was looking for a job and then he said the only exp he had getting shot out of cannons...
I will never understand why freaks bombed at the box office. Classic horror movie! LOL

They actually started out on Broadway before that

I never understood what that meant in terms of rating movies. I would hope that the people in these movies would have enjoyed themselves.

I remember watching the Bowery Boys/Dead End Kids on WGN Channel 9 here in Chicago on Saturday Mornings after the Cisco Kid then they moved to Sunday Mornings before Charlie Chan/Sherlock Holmes in the 70's and early to mid 80's before they moved to WPWR Channel 50 great memories of my childhood

Eastside kids the Bowery boys or whatever title they went under from the time they started making these pictures with Leo Gorcey Hunts Hall and all of the rest of the gang these were classic movies I am 61 years old and can remember watching them as a little kid on Saturday mornings and Sunday mornings that and the little rascals glad I found them where I can watch them all over again
Sunshine Sammy Morrison and Donald Haines were both Little Rascals and East Side Kids.

No matter what' role he played Bela always had that dignified quality to his presence I didn't recognize the little fellow that played his servant assistant the actor Billy barty played a lot of those roles
