Thank you very much for this video. It was very usefull. I had a problem after mounting. I mounted and dismounted the PC several times. All was according to manual and this video. When I plugged the power adapter the fan moved a little, then stopped, light in the power indicator switched on, but pressing the switch on button didn't work. I read that these computers had issues with the RAM memories. I removed one of the two I have. I tried again, it worked. I switched the position of the two memories, it worked again. Just in case this is helpful for someone, I wanted to post.
I love the performance of this PC and ease of repair, but hate the built quality. They should have built a better base cover because it breaks easily and even the screws just fall off. The hinges are just too tight so that its structure could be supported.
Ist eine Ferndiagnose möglich, ob man Ober- und Unterteil braucht, wenn das Schnier gebrochen ist. Oder muss man dafür den Laptop aufschrauben und nachschauen?
da man ihn sowieso auseinanderschrauben muss um das entsprechende Teil zu wechseln ist es doch kein Umstand zu schauen. Meist ist es das Unterteil da dort die Schrauben für die Scharniere eingeschraubt sind.
Hi I have a lenovo g40 80 and I need to disconect the display cable form the motherboard, however I've never done that before and it is not obvious to me how to do it, I can see that the notebook in this video has the same display cable as mine. Could you tell how to correctly disconect the cable from the motherboard? Do I just pull from the tape attached to it ??

I am not sure if i need the back lid or the hinges or all of them...and where i can find the right parts. Would really appreciate your help man )) Cant afford a new laptop at this time.

i have replaced the bottom part when came to charge the laptop i had 1 green light on and 1 flashing green light and a blank screen,does anybody know what could be wrong please.

Your video helped fix lenovo g50-80 laptop. i managed to remove top+bottom bases and replace. As the screen hinge caused the base part broken.👍

sorry saw your mail so late. You have to disassemble the lap to see what is broken. At Aliexpress there is a replacement 14-46 €.

Same problem. Did you replace both lower and upper touchpad case of the laptop?
I only had to change the lower part ... because the screws found in the lower part.
