I think there's lore to this. Once a Killstreak player reaches 50, that's where they'll lose control of themselves. Which is probably the reason why Lan attacked his friend who has been helping him. And that person who got the 50 streaks is about to lose self-control as well. "Power is everything" they say...
Edit: Also, I hope Lan makes an animation about the 1000 phase kill streak, that will be epic
It's possible that Killstreak glove gets strong enough to possibly possess the person holding it, either that or the person who holds it starts to wish more power so much they would kill anything for it
I think they will calm down and regain their sense cuz 75 made user sooo much weaker

I know in slap battles, if a killstreak kills another killstreak, the dominant one gets the others' kills. But I like to think Lan stole his body after he died
