for the AMPED achievement, if you fail to plug in all the wires in 35 seconds you DO NOT need to reload the checkpoint. -unplug all the wires, wait about a minute, then simply plug them in again! Hopefully i saved someone a reloaded checkpoint.
This is definetely one of the most frustrating and difficult achievements to get in the game. What makes it so hard is the fact that you have only 35 seconds, sure it's a fair amount of time, but considering how wacky the game's controls and character movement is, it takes a lot of time to correctly position the wire so it actually plugs in. Not to mention you're locked in 3rd person and the wires are very close to each other and you do not know what exactly you will grab, so it may be the ground or some other wire that you did not meant to take. Quite literally every second matters.
I’ll be honest I follow what he does most of the time but there’s little things I find easier doing that I think most would too. Example when swinging it’s easier for me to swing with one hand and grab a rope creating more momentum on the swing. There multiple things like this including skipping entire sections lol anyway I can

I’m almost done with the achievements in this game. I do one at a time and there been at least 20-30 I’ve had to restart the level to get it to pop and n another day
6:40 Says that 35 seconds is a generous amount of time to plug in all of the wires ... also says green and yellow may be confusing and that it's difficult to locate the thermal map in the menus lmao.
With the Amped achievement, somebody suggested on True Achievements to hold 2 wires at once at the start, whack one in then another, does save time! Start with the bottom ones first and hold two that are next to each other. I thought they achievement was bugged too, I must've had a good 6 go's or so and felt like I definitely done it under the time limit at least 2 of those, perhaps I didn't wait long enough between go's or was too slow but eventually got it so keep trying! It's kinda hard to time yourselves, maybe record a game clip and watch it back to see how long it takes you if you feel you fast enough and it's not working. Timer apparently starts when you plug the first one in.
The 2 wire trick worked for me after 6 what I thought were Beneath 35 seconds. Start with the red and blue one and kind of line up the other ones and just go for it. Try to grab the white tips if you can as well.
For Amped, pressing ctrl-shift-T is hugely helpful (command to slow time by 50%). You will have over a minute to do all the wires and honestly you moving 50% slower is not that impactful.
got the amped trophy on my first try. I thought it was gonna be harder. just set up the cables close to the connectors like he did in the video and when you start do as little movement as possible, focus on accuracy rather than speed. the bottom conectors are the easiest, you just grab the cable and lift your hand a bit. stand in the middle of 2 connectors, connect two with your left hand, then two with your right hand and move on to the next set. it's that simple
"Amped!" achievement worked well on PC. Collected all the wires in the room. Waited about a minute. Then proceeded to connect all the wires within 35 seconds. Started with bottom first. Then top since that was easier. If you don't get it, just unplug all the wires, wait a minute, and try again. Good luck! :)
This is a great tutorial but the only issue is I literally can't keep up with you if you edit so much. A 13 minute video took me over a half hour to get through because I kept pausing
I'm assuming yes. Having two players will make it faster but only one may end up with the achievement (unsure). However trying to do this solo with two controllers will definitely not be better if that's what you're asking 😂

Generous amount of time he says as he barely makes it in the nick of time. It extremely frustrating trying to get your guys arms in the correct position all the while not tripping over the other wires.
