Weidman lost so much respect, how can you celebrate that?!
Well he celebrated when silva broke his leg soooooo!!!!!

4 eye pokes, no points taken and a tko is a typical ufc card these days.
Also that ref is crooked to the bones, the little blonde buff guy. Was rushing Blindado to start again after the poke, no points taken, a finish out of these pokes and decision over a NC.. the UFC wanted Chris to win to show that "everything's possible"😂 it's getting absurd
The points were deducted and the tko was reversed to a UD. Do you not know how MMA works?

Chris just out cringed his dad with his celebration. "Still my boy"

This eyepoke celebration is much worse to celebrate tho
I have no respect for Weidman - him, Longo, Serra . . . not a fan of their disrespectful East Coast attitudes. Him saying that Silva should've stood after the eye poke is such BS. Should Uriah have jumped on him with ground and pound after his leg broke in two? Granted all the action was too quick for the ref to see in real time, but the decision should at the very least be turned to a No Contest.

Didn't you know, Bruno was supposed to just stand there like an idiot and let it keep happening, oh, hello, he doesn't see that hook coming in that's going to knock him out. And if that had happened, everyone would have said, why didn't you stop and let the ref know you'd been eye poked - REPEATEDLY? And where is some honour in fighting? Most guys know they've gotten the eye, deliberately or accidentally, and if the other fighter wants the time to recover, they concede it (the eyepoke deliberately done because they want a rest, but they have conceded that they have done it). That Weidman, digging into Bruno's brain, didn't do that. He got what he needed from his eye poke combo. Just dirty from top to bottom.

“if you aint cheating,u aint trying” -DC
I lost any respect I had for Weidman after that fight and I was rooting for him to win. I totally agree with Bruno Silva on this. Weidman's post fight remarks were completely unprofessional. Remember this is the same Weidman that tried to get a cheap DQ win against Mousasi on a legal knee. I think the ref should never be allowed to officiate in the UFC ever again. He totally dropped the ball. I think even if unintentional, if you foul your opponent, the ref warns you and the fight ends because you continue to foul your opponent, should be automatic DQ. I think the other fight before Weidman's that ended because of an eye poke should have been turned into a no contest.
Weidman could have had a nice feel good story here but he screwed that up and made himself look like a giant douche bag. Really hope his next opponent knocks the delusion out of him.
It just shows his character. When people show you who they are, believe them. He was looking for a way out? Weidman had his finger knuckle deep in Silva's right eye and then scratched his left eye immediately after. Maybe he dropped down because he was blind for a short time?
@@philippculture489 I have never really been much of a Weidman fan, always thought he was full of himself and delusional but I had sympathy for him after the leg break and was pulling for him in this fight because I thought him winning after what happened to his leg would have been a good moment for MMA and a feel good story overall. Yet he ruined it with the way he acted after the fight and that ridiculous post fight speech. I will never root for him again.
The fact that he kept his fingers extended despite “told” to watch the fingers is a clear sign it was rigged in his favor
Nothing wrong with the gloves...its the fighter.
The situation was so surreal that it is possible to conjecture whether Weidman is suffering from some psychological disorder.
During the fight and after, nothing he did seemed normal.
I think he’s just a dbag. Mocked Silva’s leg with fans after he snapped it. Then after this fight, he went up to Bruno and said “I know I know”, then proceeded to celebrate… he’s simply a low class human being.
I worked with a guy back in the day that took his wife’s name when they married. Nobody knew he did it till he got a divorce and he came to work with a new last name on his name tag. Everyone was like WTF???
Weidman should have been disqualified for that double eye poke cheater
Silva should win via DQ if there was an adult in the room.
I've never seen a 1-2 eyepoke in my lifetime
The larger questions are why is Weidman still fighting and why is the UFC wasting roster space and airtime putting on his fights? Weidman hasn't been relevant for more than eight full years which in MMA is an eternity. It's been over a full decade since the Silva fights. He's not a big ticket seller. He doesn't have a big TV viewer fanbase either. It's all so pointless.
Politics
I understand why Weidman was happy, he needed that win bad or he probably would have retired or got cut
I agree but people arent forgetting how he was taking pics with fans, checking leg kicks, after Anderson Silva broke his leg, it doesn't look good on him.
Maybe hes a ruthless win at all costs kinda guy with no class or maybe he just over celebrated due to his own circumstances, either way it doesn't look good.
He would have won without the eyepokes though

Anyone remember when GSP won the title against Matt Hughes? Two back to back groin kicks before ko’ing him with a head kick. No one talks about it.
Remember the Hendricks fight ?
Dana could barely look at him, and even said "GSP lost that fight"
@@danberry3417 I’m one of the unpopular few who believes that GSP won that fight. You have to remember that during that period of time the UFC point scoring system was more dominant in judging decisions than damage was. GSP out struck Johnny Hendricks each round of that fight. Hendricks would do damage when he bursted with a combo but then as the rounds went on and he would only do this about once a minute. During that time GSP would be peppering him up, stacking up his numbers on paper. Even to this day as I write this GSP’s significant strike record hasn’t been beaten and he hasn’t fought in YEARS. His face looked like a beaten up hamburger after that fight but, on paper, GSP win that fight.

@@danberry3417 I literally only learned this recently but I’m happy to share it with you. By general consensus a significant strike, to us, means a strike that has done a significant amount of damage to the opponent. I’m saddened to inform you that a significant strike only means a blow that was struck from an arms length away. It is merely only a matter of distance rather than significance within the fight that makes these matter. By that measurement GSP won that fight. I’m not taking sides, I’m just spitting the facts.
If you want to feel real cheated watch Brandon Vera vs Randy Couture. B.V. Should have won by TKO but the ref let it run through and then gifted RC the victory.

That was such a stupid thing for Weidman to say. He poked him in the eyes over and over in that fight. I thought about it from your perspective initially but what would have happened if Silva completely stood there trying to wipe his eyes is Weidman would had gone berzerk thinking silva was dazed. They should rebook Weidman vs Bruno ASAP. And change it to a NC
My main problem with the wideman thing is that he threw a 2 piece eye poke combo whether as a failed attempt to post on his face or to poke him intentionally, but he had to know that those weren't punches he threw and so by the time his hook was coming around, Bruno was already falling to the ground and at very best just grazed the back of his head after connecting mainly with his shoulder, so his justification for celebration doesn't make sense. This is disgraceful
Chris wanted a win soon bad after so many setbacks the last few years
He is a COWARD CLOWN WITH NO INTEGRITY 🤡
Ngl max brain sounding slower he might need to retire
He said he feels "more faster" 😁. That's a lot of speed.
yo the ending got me crying😂😂 baby counting the money fast for some odd reason i just seen that clip of him doing that then you guys show it 😂😂
lmao that ending with Jonny Bones as Ray longo
Laura defending that corny move is funnier than the move itself. TJ is dealing with karma lmao
UFC doesnt need to change their gloves. You really have to use a lot of effort to intentionally straighten out your fingers in the current gloves.
Have you used the ufc gloves?
@@Plague_Angel No...I've seen fighters talk about it. I think Rampage explained it on his podcast when he was talking about Jones being a dirty fighter. you really have to put a consider amount of effort to keep your fingers extended out in the gloves they used.
@@Plague_Angel I have. You do have to be cautious, but at the same time it’s really hard to poke someone when you don’t want to.
@samael6903 but if you are the type of fighter to try and parry and hand fight alot it's also hard when people are coming forward straight into and outstretched hand.
I used to train in kings mma gloves and would always try parry and control arms/hands and I gotta say I never eyepoked anyone. But I can see how easy it would be to accidentally do it.
I'm really surprised it dosent happen more to be honest.
Paulo Costa is so nice to his fans. Well done Paulo, you made that guys day.
That Ian Gary name thing is cap.
It's kinda lame like you can go a change a child's last name very very very easy it only costs $325- 350 and hearing that he did that makes him more of a cuck loser
It actually makes more sense than he taking her ex husband last name...
@helloman3676 Her ex isn't Brazilian, so the name Machado must have come from her.
@@helloman3676this has been public knowledge for months,I don’t know how you didn’t know that
Tell us the true story them…
Thank you
Lol silva saying it was a draw is hilarious 😂😂😂
They dont wanna pay Trevor for the gloves...
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
chris pokemon
Weidman didn’t choose for the judges to mess up..
He was declared the winner, he celebrated *#EndOf*
he eyepoked the guy 4 times, and celebrated like he won the belt. Its just cringe
I didn’t choose to kick you in the nuts😂but God gave ME the glory -me taking inspiration from Chris
