Thomas McPhee Well, it is long and fairly complicated, but if you can get into it, it's actually quite a good game, often overlooked and overshadowed by War of the Ring.
Really looking forward to this one! Have it on my shelf for quite some time but the heavy rulebook kept me from actually playing it... Thanks for doing this! :)
Gigantic game! I'm looking forward to seeing how you get on. I thought the moving camera was fine, you held it pretty steady and I'm ok with having the rules emerge as you play through. Looks like fun! Thanks for taking the trouble to share it.
Brian Parker Thanks for joining along for the journey - it is a big game and I hope by the end the rules will make themselves clear. There are some really clever mechanics (especially battles) that are extremely well done in this game - and it drips with theme, if you like that kind of thing.
Hoping to get the next episode up by the 24th or 25th . . . it's a busy time right now with holidays happening, so unfortunately episodes won't happen every day as per my normal release. Episodes will happen more like every 3 or 4 days instead. Just thought I would leave a message about that in case you all were wondering. Have a great holiday (if you have one) and thanks for watching along!
Crankbait4444 Get a couple of friends to play - it's a good game once you get through the learning curve. Hope my video series helps, and thanks for watching along.
It is a fascinating game. Huge, sprawling, very cool battle mechanics. But it does take a few times to play to learn the card decks and what they can do, etc. Still, one of the old classic LOTR game for sure. Still not as good as War of the Ring, but still a lot of fun to play!
you should try Firefly the Board Game soon. Its a really fun game based off the epic TV show Firefly (which was canceled after one season). Can be solo played or it can be mulitplayer.
I'm glad you're doing this one. I own it and it's been gathering dust for two years now! Not once has it been out.

thanks for the gameplay!
Glad you enjoyed it! It's a super fun game really, but highly underrated. I need to get this to the table again. Thanks for watching along!

Thanks for doing this play though. This game has been sitting on my shelf unplayed. After watching you, it should motivate me to give it a try.

@@PaulDarcy this will never hit my table but your table is a good proxy 🙂♥
Great job!
+Trevor Gunter Thanks - and thanks for watching along!
I thought you were saying Argo Lad and Amphi Lass... sounds more like a Superhero duo...
Early Game Strategy for good:
Argolad heads down to Fangorn and then to Isengard.
Elenor heads to Anfalas.
Llamad Mow This will, of course, depend on Sauron's opening moves since he goes first.

It's one of my play throughs here on my channel . . . fun game!
