12 minutes in funding has to be a record for any Kickstarter wargame. Congrats! Thank you also for looking out for customer interests and keeping them in mind while getting "Rock of Chickamauga" to market with all the stretch goals. A few extra months is very reasonable. A couple years really isn't.
12 minutes... I don't know for sure, but I have backed over 160 games on Kickstarter. Many/most are wargames. I've never seen one fund that quickly. Nor have I seen a second edition, like '65-2e fund in 18 minutes. It's also important to understand that the funding goal was $20,000. We almost 6xed it. We're very fortunate.
Maybe an idea worth trying for stretch goal is to subsidize a portion of shipping if a campaign reaches specific goals. I don't know if it's been tried (or even allowed by KS) but it does feel like a thank you to the pledgers and may not require that much extra work from FPG
Thanks, thanks. It's really all about the FPG team. Designers such as Shayne, Herman, Greg, Gottardo, David K.; incredible artists including Jose, Kwanchai, Nadir, Ilya, Guillaume, Thomas the Intern/Not Intern, and so many others. Janice keeping us all in line, Tracy on the Customer support, Thomas the Intern/Not Intern handling anything from orders to art, and Denver has just completely REVITALIZED the entire operation. She is going to bring many years of great games to y'all. Oh yeah... I'm not quite done, either.
Thank you for the update! Cant wait for TRoC. As for the channel, I would much prefer to see actual board game play rather than Vassal game play. Congrats on all your success and adventure! You guys rock!
@fpgowner I play hex and counter PC games so not opposed to that but a board game plays differently. Seeing a bunch off pull down menus and screen changes isn't the same as watching someone push cardboard and drop die in a tower.
Flying Pig does a super job on their Kickstarter campaigns. I wonder if Shayne Logan can beat the 12 minute funding when he does OST V!? Old School Tactical is tree-men-dous! I don't even know what OST V is going to be about (?) and...well here; take my money! Lol, seriously I'm a big fan of OST, love the big maps and the art. In my eyes, OST is the modern day, "blue collar" version of ASL. At least, in my mind, that's how I see it anyway. You can pick and choose your entry point, the rules aren't a million pages long, and its...dare I say it... it's fun to play! Can't wait for V! 🍻
I don't know, but on a personal level, I'm looking forward to Vol V more than any previous volume. It's a very cool setting. Somewhat lesser done, but still popular.
@@fpgowner And it's not North Africa? Hmm. I'm currently listening to a series of audiobooks by David Cameron, telling the story of the fighting on New Guinea on the Kokoda trail from the Australian point of view. Is it New Guinea? Could it be the fighting in the PI? Aleutian Islands maybe? Oh wait... it's not Market Garden is it!?
Just recently got into OST and am loving it. Just have one issue - you guys have been out of stock of several titles for some time (Hell Bent, V1 second ed, Stalingrad, etc). When will they be back in stock?
We hear you! We are reprinting OSTV12e and Stalingrad now and will have them back in stock early 2025. Hopefully reprinting Hell Bent next year as well! 💥🎲🐷

Thanks for the idea, I will cogitate on this! 💥🎲 I’d love to get shipping costs down.
Besides the title, Broken Logic makes sense. :) Looking forward to that one in the new year.
lol read the webpage, Uwe! Its explained there 💥🎲🐷
OST V, Broken Logic, and '95 -- 2025 and onward is going to be great!
Congrats on 10 years of success!!

Agreed. If unopened a pkaythrough video and see it's vassal, I will close unless it's a game I can't find played on a board
@@robertdelaney4332 Yeah, fair enough. We're working on actual board game playthroughs.

That’s helpful feedback thank you. I suggested Vassal really so that we could play with designers/people who don’t live close to us. 💥🎲🐷
@@flyingpiggamespublishing Exactly. I mean it would get expensive to fly Shayne from Canada to Virginia. LOL.
Just subscribed! Backed OST 2/3/4 and RoC plus all add-ons. OST v5!? Can’t wait for the interview next week.
Thank you so much for your support! 💥🎲🐷
thank you for the update
You’re welcome, thanks for watching! 💥🎲

Somewhat lesser done, but still popular...hmm...🤔. If it's WWII, NA? Or is he jumping to The Forgotten War?
@@robertmoffitt1336 No, it's still WW2

I want 3rd edition of Gettysburg most fearsome Sacrifice.
We are reprinting 2ed now, it will be available early 2025! 🐷💥🎲

My favorite e-tailer does not carry your games but he's been open to investigate opportunities. Who would he need to contact to discuss?
That’s great! staff@flyingpiggames.com thank you! 💥🎲
Better than that. Who is the e-tailer and what is their email? We'll contact them. Let us know at the staffATflyingpiggames email.
I’d subscribe twice if that would help!
