Do you know what happened to Volx? I took a 2 yr break from the game because of school, I noticed that a lot of DST good players like Helicalpuma, ClwnBaby and Volx is inactive.
Hey dude pro tips for Walter: 1. If you have the slingshot and you’re insane, just spam f or whatever quick attack key you have binded and the nightmare creatures get permanently stunlocked 2. Using a pine tree pioneer hat and log armor/thulecite armor is better than wearing hats because you don’t take as much sanity damage and you can just use woby and (optional) Chester to fill in for a backpack 3. you can cheese bearger and moosegoose by spamming your slingshot too, and permanently stunlocking them There’s probably more tips but I forgot them right now, but these are basically ways in which Walters slingshot can be very op at times
Very entertaining and calm gameplay showcase. Thanks for that. I hope to be as confident at fighting bosses solo as you some day. Especially Bee Queen still gives me headaches every time >.
Heli with moose-goose fight you can unequip your weapon on the 4th attack just before the honk then equip it to prevent weapon from getting dropped. Should give you an extra 2 free hits.

Good video my man. Btw, the black bars on the top and bottom are probably an aspect ratio issue. I'm not sure what editing program you use but Adobe Premiere set it to be 0.91 for me automatically instead of 1.0, which changing fixed that!
Thanks Rick! It's actually my recording software that causes the problem. It sometimes happens after I shut my pc down. But I did see it before recording the last 2 parts because I had to watch the end of part 4 before I continued. So I just restarted my pc again and the bars were gone. I use geforce to record.
That was the plan for the wortox playthrough. But I played that last December. That's what happens when I don't have enough time to edit with voice. I went with text for this one so I could upload while Walter was still relatively new.
just a question of moose/goose do the moslings drop down feathers while not enraged if it does, couldnt you kill the moslings by baiting them with berries then gill moose/goose after
Yes that's correct. The moslings are very good at kiting tho. They will go for food and can be baited but they do a great job of avoiding getting hit. It would require a lot of practice using a baiting method, & even with practice I don't think it would be very effective. Moslings are just so damn good at kiting. There are other ways to trap them with certain objects etc. Its called cheesing/cheating or basically exploiting glitches or basic game mechanics. I think James Bucket made a vid a while ago about it.
The drops are the same even if they are not enraged. Baiting them might be a little difficult, but you can kill them at night or use a pan flute if you wan't to kill them before moose goose.

@@helicalpuma You might want to try swapping to OBS and see if that's a permanent fix, you can still set it to record with your GPU.
I know you said you were editing a wortox run. Will the spoken commentary return for that do you think? Either way great to see you uploading.
