Congrats on hitting the 10k mark. Perfect example of what happens when u put in the work. Great results happen. We are better players as a result of ur hard work and videos. Thank you!!
Thanks Cliff. Very helpful video. I have mastered the backhand roll because of the wrist movement, but the wrist movement of the forehand is what I needed to see. I also liked the last few comments on what to do if you are on other parts of the court. For example, if you are in the transition area, you suggested resetting into the kitchen by just blocking the ball upwards just over the net. I have been trying to get my drilling partner to come up with a reset drill holding the paddle still rather than trying to swing. Have you done a training video that includes resetting? If not, would you consider that? I've enjoyed your videos. Thanks again.
I have been watching your lessons I think since I first noticed you on youtube. Your lessons have really helped me. very easy to follow and understand.I am 74 years old and play 3 times a week. You have made me a better player. My friends all ask me if I am taking lessons. LOL
Thanks Cliff, always looking for more videos, your explanation, and showing mechanics on the forehand roll, seemed to turn a light on, I’ll work on that shot, Thankyou!
Just started switching to pickleball from being a national tennis player a month go. It’s exciting… thanks for the tip on the forehand roll. I was experimenting with my tennis grips to see what can be done… not the same at all!
Great video, really informative on how to make that ball roll off the paddle with your forehand. Clifford does a great job in explaining how simple the shot really is.
Another great video. I seem to be able to do the backhand roll pretty easy but not the forehand. Thanks for the info. Your videos are always easy to understand and really help. And hey, Daddy needs a Selkirk paddle! Winner right here baby!!!
This is great! I love the way you break it down! (Lock the wrist....45 degrees...down and up...). I can't wait to try this on my friends this weekend! Thanks again!
i like the way you explain and show and repeat the important things. on this video i enjoyed the movement of the wrist. hope to try it on a new paddle, lol. keep up the great work, gary
Thank you for the video and nice tutorial! One thing that confuses me, is that the advice is to keep the paddle closed at 45°, but when you're doing the stroke, it appears to open up at contact closer to 90° and even more when the ball is contacted below net-height. I slo-motioned the video and it certainly seems paddle opens up at contact to give the ball lift over the net.
Started playing pickleball in July and I never played racquet sports before. I have used your videos to learn a lot! Also, got to meet Rich in Cleveland, TN. You guys are great!
Congrats for 10k. Keep on posting content! This video was great it really helped with my forehand roll. I am a young player trying to improve my pickle ball game. Could you make a video about cool shots to add to your game? 50k is right there!🎉 I want the invikta!🤣 #INVIKTA GIVEAWAY
