lol it took me a couple games to see what was going on, same exact thing of being surprised when I scored. At first I thought, it was who touches the ball, like heatseeker, then I thought it had to hit the wall on the opponent side, then I finally realized the ball has to hit any wall or ceiling to change to your color if you were the last to hit it.

Im a gc and what really helped me climb ranks was learning jump resets and good defence. You dont need to do a lot jump resets just 1 or 2 to position better and gain boost. Also try to pass the ball with purple shots
