So for my experience (playing Tarkov) after a set amount of hours/experience the adrenaline isn't as much (still intense at times) but you become a bit more relaxed so you're able to have great coms even in intense moments such as the fight in the video. It's a weird thing that you don't notice until someone point out like "huh, I guess I am calm while fighting people now"
We used to call them drone crews, watch out for those guys, they just don't quit, after spending so long remaining hyper vigilant for any potential threats, eventually it turns into hyper focus, those were the best crews I was ever on if you were trying to get shit done, if they spoke completely monotone and never hesitated come hell or high water, or the kraken spawn youre GOING to get at the end of the night on the way to cash in, you were in trouble, they might be wearing scrub gear to stay low-key, but they're all max lvl PL that have been playing since day 1, and have absolutely no concerns about you and your buddies plans for the evening, if you don't lay down, you'll stay down, ...and then there was me, just watching ladders, listening for splashing in the water, having to pull guard duty, wondering how I got so lucky to get stuck in with trained killers

You just described exactly why I haven’t booted up the game since August, pvp is either a one sided stomp or a 20 minute stalemate where I’m getting shittalked for winning or losing. Wasn’t like that at launch but over the years the community has become a bunch of stuck up losers all around.

Great example of good comms. A lot of medium to lower-high skilled players seem to believe that they’re only worth it for big, obvious things you learn from baby’s first Phuzzybond tutorial like “boarder” or “one-balled” with the logic that “a good crew doesn’t need as much communication because they’ll just know what to do”. You and Nessie have the skill and game knowledge to wipe like 90% of the player base even if you played no-mic but being aware of every little detail like where exactly your crewmate is on the ship, which way they’re turning the wheel, what part of the enemy’s ship they’re aiming at, etc. at all times to an almost clinical degree is what wins the other 10% of fights.

years ago me and a stranger I befriended (after attacking him like a gremlin only to find out he was solo) 2v4'd whatever the next size ship is from a sloop (can you tell I barely know this game?) and we managed to sink them with a lucky magic cannon ball that anchored them. it was complete chaos with me pelting them with shot after shot and eventually sinking them, while he wordlessly save our ass bailing and repairing with me being none the wiser. that was the best I've ever played (and was exhausting) and what you guys did here looks lightyears beyond that. I haven't even got to the drama part of the vid yet, it's just insane seeing you shrug off events that would have sunk us a dozen times over.
What I love about the coms is that it's a skill of it's own, and a important one as well. I personally play Tarkov and coms is a must have in that game. I love teaching Timmies how to communicate properly, and I enjoy seeing them grow as a player as well. Seeing how y'all communicate resemble how my buds and I do it as well. Quick short replys but with as much details as possible. no "umm left side" just "Coming up left I think" etc etc. The communication is what helped y'all win since I think y'all were a 2v3 maybe 2v4 I could not tell. Over all props to you guys were winning, and sorry to hear y'all got harassed by the person afterwards Edit: Also them saying "we ran out of cannons" is such a copout statement to me. Yes having enough cannons will help you win a fight but it isn't everything in my opinion (I never played this game) from my experience in Tarkov gear isn't everything but it's a lot. I killed many chads with a Mosin/no front sight by honestly being lucky/skilled at using shit gear (To scared to use good gear xD) Having not enough cannons most likely cost them the fight but if they are skilled players they could still win in my opinion at least (again never played the game I'm just watching the video and don't know to much about the game as well)
I don’t know how much this game has improved since launch, but the idea that someone could get this worked up over Sea of Mid/No Man’s Sea of all games is astounding to me.
I didn't even know professional Sea of Thieves was a thing, but the organization, movement, coordination between you two is downright surreal to watch, your multitasking skills are honestly TERRIFYING in the best way possible.
I remember the first time I got enough friends together to start a Galleon, and we were just pirate talking and goofing off when some sweatlord and his girlfriend started to chase us in a Sloop. He proceeded to stalk us to every outpost we went to attempting to sink us, kept failing, told her to let him do all the work, all while shit talking trying to impress his "girlfriend." I have never seen a more pathetic display.
For me that sound means "don't forget to subscribe, and be sure to turn on those notifications" and I had to keep reminding myself that is not what the editor was going for here
So as someone whos never even played this game, and has only watched a few videos on it, this is insane. Even though I don really have a basis for what an average skill level player would be, I can tell you guys are absolute cracked
I have never watched this game in my life but even I stayed to watch the whole video. The insane skill and coordination oozing from you two was mesmerizing. Amazing gameplay.
Ive never watched anything on this game but you fighting a ship from daylight to night continuously and staying ice cold the whole time goes crazy lmao

No screaming, no blaming, just precise teamwork and fast paced action, no bs, loving it. Well done!
Don't even feel like I needed to watch the video by 1:00, how can these guys hope to win against a 180-300 ping mf who can snipe their canon 150m away through waves consistantly
I don’t know who you are and i’ve only played SoT once when it released but as a massive management game player i have to say the communication and efficiency displayed in this video is insane and very impressive.
One word. How… I watched the whole fight and In shock in how you hit all so many of the snipes, when I can barely hit one. @Diegoggs900 bwahahaha perfectly sane and logical response! %100 what a normal human would say!
@@Diegoggs900 my guy why would i ever want to look like a pompous ass over a game. this applies to real life sports too, i just don't get it. sure, it's fine to be frustrated but there wouldn't even be a "game" if there was not a opponent to compete with, i just don't get how folks can try their best to be as unpleasant as possible to the guy you are committing time to compete with. it's antisocial behavior to a person you are sharing a hobby with. some folks grow out of it but seeing adults do it is cringe and adds nothing but a bad ick taste to the experience. it's one thing to curse after you fumble a fight or have a moment of anger but we're talking a whole new ball game when you fake DMs with slurs to smear someone's character. people lose jobs over that stuff. have some perspective instead of doubling down on the status quo and just be better.
why would you interrupt his auramaxxing dude

🤣🤣🤣 he said he had a clip of him spawn camping me and me crying on a brig, then he sent me the clip and it wasn't even me. That's dudes HILARIOUS lmfao

Sponge letting out a little giggle cause of 'fart squad' setting sail at 10:50 😂
wha
Hehehehheheheh fard
Hahahaha fart squad
years ago me and a stranger I befriended (after attacking him like a gremlin only to find out he was solo) 2v4'd whatever the next size ship is from a sloop (can you tell I barely know this game?) and we managed to sink them with a lucky magic cannon ball that anchored them. it was complete chaos with me pelting them with shot after shot and eventually sinking them, while he wordlessly save our ass bailing and repairing with me being none the wiser. that was the best I've ever played (and was exhausting) and what you guys did here looks lightyears beyond that. I haven't even got to the drama part of the vid yet, it's just insane seeing you shrug off events that would have sunk us a dozen times over.
Tbh this isn't even a top 5 cheesecake crash out moment lmao
big up crashcake
28:27 "wait I just gotta turn my monitor on" is wildd😭🙏
What I love about the coms is that it's a skill of it's own, and a important one as well. I personally play Tarkov and coms is a must have in that game. I love teaching Timmies how to communicate properly, and I enjoy seeing them grow as a player as well. Seeing how y'all communicate resemble how my buds and I do it as well. Quick short replys but with as much details as possible. no "umm left side" just "Coming up left I think" etc etc. The communication is what helped y'all win since I think y'all were a 2v3 maybe 2v4 I could not tell. Over all props to you guys were winning, and sorry to hear y'all got harassed by the person afterwards
Edit: Also them saying "we ran out of cannons" is such a copout statement to me.

Well the allegiance speaks for itself tbh
I don’t know how much this game has improved since launch, but the idea that someone could get this worked up over Sea of Mid/No Man’s Sea of all games is astounding to me.
I didn't even know professional Sea of Thieves was a thing, but the organization, movement, coordination between you two is downright surreal to watch, your multitasking skills are honestly TERRIFYING in the best way possible.
Big up terrifying
"you don't understand what that fight just did to my rep" is WILD!!
It’s funny too me because he probably started that fight with more cannons than you
EXACTLY
@@massivesponge awesome stream btw its always fun chatting
Too busy shooting the already tripled wheel over and over again. XD
Watching this felt like watching two people try to beat the max difficulty night in a FNAF game, holy shit you two are awesome
People often use the ship bell to censor stuff so when ever I hear it in gameplay it genuinely confuses me briefly
Comp
For me that sound means "don't forget to subscribe, and be sure to turn on those notifications" and I had to keep reminding myself that is not what the editor was going for here
its good to see the community flourishing after all these years
ye
So as someone whos never even played this game, and has only watched a few videos on it, this is insane. Even though I don really have a basis for what an average skill level player would be, I can tell you guys are absolute cracked

Kirby is the most chill dude ever.
Whoever this is, they aren't Kirby.
"Bro we are out of mang- we're out of pines bro"
I snorted at this so hard.
This sounds like some Kirby shit
Sea of Thieves sure is a game that has a completely normal fanbase.
Ive never watched anything on this game but you fighting a ship from daylight to night continuously and staying ice cold the whole time goes crazy lmao
I have never played sea of thieves, and have no idea what is going on, and even i recognize how insane you guys are at this game lmao, it's so impressive
I could feel the frustration from that ping disadvantage, good comeback mate
Best 30 mins of gaming content ive ever enjoyed, thank you sponge.

Chief I'm gonna be real I don't even play this game but curiosity was killing me. This was really fun to watch, and an ego maniac getting walked over is always nice haha
my crew would have sunk in 1 minute and spent the entire time hollering and playing the hurdy gurdy
i didn't realize people played sea of thieves competitively, and i've never heard of this chanel, but this video was absolutely mesmerizing.
I like how during when you guys were fighting you and your friend are so chill at the situation, meanwhile i would scream at my friends and my friend would scream at me 😂
I got to say man... I'm 6 minutes in, and this is such a sweaty onslaught! And you guys are working the way a team is supposed to!
You sir have earned my sub. The chill comms are amazing

I'll never understand this games community. If there was a Barbie game with PvP, they'd sweat in that, too. This games community seems to be just as bad as GTAs.
Aussies writing 'nor' for 'no' is something i didnt know happened and it makes me happy
I think it’s just me 🤣
love how after 30 min of battle you say: "Easy"
You nerded that one pretty hard, sir.

Man I don't play this game, don't watch it either, for some reason UA-cam has been super insistent I watch this. I'm currently at 11:30 and had completely forgotten about the drama mentioned and coming, your callouts are amazing, it's actually epic to watch. Imagine using a pak for supps then complaining about not having any. Crazy

lol fr bro had like 300 mangos at the end of the fight when they got boarded. he just wasted all his shots 🤣 opening the same three holes
We locked
One word. How… I watched the whole fight and In shock in how you hit all so many of the snipes, when I can barely hit one. I need some advice to know how to communicate effectively, deal with boarders under pressure like this. I would’ve survived barely a minute with a border on board. I was stressing and in shock to how well composed and calculated you both played. Bravo
Watch sponge guides :)
real evidence of an apology is massive :)

i dont blay SOT but this is some of the most impressive communication ive seen in any game. yall make one hell of a team

@@Roll_T1dedoes Tanklesschart have a reputation for being toxic? Played him this weekend and he seemed chill although a bit chatty during the fight.
Tanklesschart goated, #1 helm NA
@@Nonomomo8668 he usually plays with teammates that are pretty cocky.. he’s just a kid that is in online school or something and doesn’t even do it, instead he just plays sea of thieves 24/7. He’s a good fight, as long as you have a good helm.
ive tried SOT a few times but always got confused on what to do and found it boring. But watching you guys fights and give amazing comms makes me want to try it out again

Cheaters? lol, what cheats 😂
@Splashtailswabbie these guys got all the packs, and the worst one is quick swap. You can't crouch swap in water
did u not watch the video dummy lol@@Splashtailswabbie
@@starky8833 there is no such thing as a quickswap pak, there is quick scope paks but not quickswap. It’s .pak file which means it edits how the game runs, not completely changes the game so you can cheat.
I havent played SOT properly in like 3 years, and even then I can count on 1 hand the amount of PVP encounters I've ever had, i remember one time i got pulled up on by a sloop and expected the brig me and a few friends were on to win, we very much did not. As someone with no competitive skin in the game, this Gameplay, callouts and absolute flow state from both you and your teammate, mixed with the fact you were playing against other players who were straight up cheating, and you WIN is crazy.
You definitely deserve the sub, and i'll be closely watching your other content, this was truly fun to watch
Cheers!
