I truly pray that when and if (not if we can but if we survive) we travel among the Stars, we carry this very attitude. I want Humanity as a whole to become "our monsters" for everyone we meet.
Every story like this has a "leader" saying, "Impossible"(along with damaging the furniture) immediately After Seeing something happen, that until then they thought it was.. No one with experience would ever do that. ANY Real Leader would be more likely to respond, "Damn, How'd They Do That?", Then, "How Can We Respond?". Damaging the Surroundings due to poorly controlled Temper, Never bodes well for Their side, by preventing Clear Thinking..

alien names-Tom? Ben? are you kidding-no creative thought? and the reptation of human bodies out lasting other aliens over and over was tiresome after a while. Ships that withstood Earth conditions? ships are in space not in atmosphere-many typos as well as AI errors. I understand the work involved as I am a writer as well (published) and this ha potential but needs some serious work to make it matter to the reader-no surprises just bland action-here's to a next better one...
