i was crying when the doc told the parents that nathan was an epileptic and when his parents told him the news then him saying “i’m going to have to take pills forever?” because i’m an epileptic too and i’ve been taking pills for over a year and i’m still having seizures 😭
Me to.. im actually a Registered nurse in Australia and have been in and out of hospital trying to get meds etc right plus I keep having seizures as well. Plus I have lupus which they think gave me the epilepsy.. thankgod all my healthcare is free..

16:15 im sorry, as someone who has been running track since I was 5, I could not get over the way they started running😭 (1) why is it that whenever we have a main character do track and field in a tv show (which is rare) why is it always a dirt track and never a rubber one. I get not everyone can afford that type of track, but I NEVER see it in shows, unless its a football field and they are playing football, not running (2) no spikes.....really. I get trainers for a long distance event, but not a sprinting event....definitely not for a 200 or 400 and (3) all of their starts were HORRIBLE😭 THERE WAS NO DRIVE!!! they all immediately came up 😭im sorry. Ik its not really important, but it just irks me idk why😭

Danny and Dole are fraternal twins. I guess fraternal twins are still something new to society because almost nobody seemed to understand that they existed until this show. Fraternal twins are twins are in fact twins but they aren’t identical.

Grace talk too much, like I know Lee is blunt and all but nah, the first time watching this I agreed with him when he was like “Don’t you got better things to do with your time ?!” I like Grace but she is always in someone’s business. I hated how Cole got upset at Alex when the parents found out about the whole sneaking girls inside the house. Some people said it wasn’t snitching if Alex didn’t say anything, but others said it kinda is because if you are silent about it, it makes it more suspicious and most likely true. But Alex did give the dad a look when he asked him about it though, like “Of course, this is Cole Walter we are talking about here?!”

I feel like Alex is making teenage mistakes and learning to be mature but Cole is just not a great person who uses his injury as an excuse to treat people badly. Depression is a reason but not an excuse. Also he dives into toxicity which is its own thing. Also there’s no way he was being recruited for football as a freshman. Recruiters have to wait until athletes are seniors before they can talk

I think that Cole and Alex are both toxic, like Jackie isn’t a toy and they don’t to use her to one up each other. Cole was always starting something and provoking Alex, and keeps going after Jackie knowing how much she means to Alex. He did Erin so wrong and I didn’t like Paige. Like Jackie wasn’t a saint but like Paige was enjoying the drama between the two brothers, and being happy that they were having relationship issues. Like when she said “I’m sorry, Alex got hurt, but you don’t turn down Cole Walter, even Alex knows that .” And having the nerve to be jealous of Jackie when you broke poor Alex heart and not regretting making out with his big brother at a party in front of the whole school. Alex wasn’t innocent either but he just needed to figure things out like Cole and keep being himself. And realize that Kiley is the one for him.
My problem with Cole is similar to the ones I hvae with a similar character, Conrad. They use their pain as excuses to treat multiple characters like shit. Even though I dislike Conrad more, Cole is honestly more poorly written. He is every bad boy trope packaged into one character and is forgiven by audiences who love a character they imagine being able to fix. While yes I do agree he and Jackie have more chemistry, if choosing between brothers (because apparently no other boys exist) Alex is the far better option. Yes he is jealous of his brother but is generally just nicer and overall treats Jackie nicely. Cole is very hot and cold with Jackie and also treated Erin like shit. I also get upset about his reasoning for being sorry about kissing Paige. He treats women like shit and is only sorry this one time because it affected his brother. I don't know, I hate him and Jackie less than say Belly and Conrad but his character honestly is far worse than Alex.
