I just love the sound of those turbo’s especially at take off speeds as the spool up as more fuel is injected into the engine.

I remember being totally gobsmacked when Andania visited the swanage railway diesel gala a few years back. She was gleaming. Every inch of the body was perfect. You could see how proud the drivers were with her. It changed my view on class 40s forever.
