I got my sister Sue into this. Our parents loved it too especially our mum, she loved Mike Donovan and Ham Tyler , our dad loved Diana. Eventually it was mainly mum and Sue who watched V religiously time and again throughout the years it was repeated, Sue still does however we never took to the remake with Diana’s daughter Anna in it and even though Marc Singer was in it, he was recast as someone else and not Donovan, so was relieved they never made anymore as it was never a patch on the original and the best series by far ❤
Here in the UK , V used to be shown at 11 or 1105(which looked like the letter V when displayed on the clock by the hands) on a Friday night. When the Series was shown they used to show 2 episodes according to my mum and sister who mainly watched it❤ I never did as I lived away at the time .
My mum and sister Sue also used to love Robert Englund’s character Willie, he was just hilarious especially when he got his words wrong, my sister also thought how it was funny that a lot of the alien Visitors ( Sirians) were named after our British Royal Family😂❤
My sister Sue said that even though the symbol on the Visitors uniforms and Squad vehicles looked like the Nazi swastika it was supposed to have been the letter S and was also to have been the name of their planet Sirius 4. Sue heard about this in another documentary on UA-cam about V.❤
I told you on here how our mum (who passed away in 2010) loved Mike Donovan well back in Ireland (where our mum was from ) she went out with a guy called Sean Donovan who had a brother named Mikey? How’s that for a wonderful coincidence for her years later when V arrived on the scene❤❤
My sister Sue once read that the late Professor Stephen Hawking thought that we were heading for an alien invasion that there where alien races out there who where destroying distant planets and ours would be eventually next . My sister she wouldn’t mind at all if they looked like Martin, lizard or not😊❤
