Stopped playing sport mode months ago. The terrible penalty system and the drivers like Kimi not being banned show that PD don't care about clean racing in sport mode
We just need realistic damage in the game and his car would be totaled on the first lap!

It’s not just Kimi, there are many players spoiling the penalty system and constantly pushing people out
kimi is one of the few fast enough to bother higher rated players/streamers. thats why he gets all the attention.
What if he is Kimi Raikkonen and just hates esport driving and is trolling you guys?😂 Probably drunk while he is doing it.
I maintain that Kimi is a world tour driver on his troll account. He's so fast - he can drive like an utter ahole but is still devastatingly quick.

I think a viable penalty should be “give position back”
That way, the more time you take to recover from a punt, the longer the other driver has to wait
And this is why I dont play anymore. I got so sick to death of it
I think giving him this much attention and dedicating videos to him adds fuel to the fire and just encourages this sort of behaviour!
People will still behave like this whether they are given attention or not, it’s lack of empathy that leads to this behavior and won’t change based on attention

I solved the issue about six months ago, and its worked perfectly - I went from seeing Kimi at least once a day, to never ever again.
The solution? Sold the Playstation, and got a PC. Now I play Dirt Rally 2.0, ACC and iRacing.
Kimi should be permanently ghosted so he can't cause any harm to anyone.
Honestly add damage so the crash just ruins your car so you can't do this one crash and that's it your car is damaged

The only reason that he exists, and other drivers like him exist, is because he wants the fame, or infamy. Aside from those drivers who are actually imprinted on the game (i.e Fraga et al), Velocini is the most famous driver playing GT7. Why is he so famous? Because content creators make these videos and give him the airtime.
So the answer is simple. If everyone stopped talking about him... completely... he would get bored and disappear. In answer to your question - No, I wouldn't retaliate because you can't give him the fuel.
It may be that you guys want to keep making these videos. Maybe they are really popular and good for your channel. And that's OK too. It's a choice. But you can't vanquish Kimi if you keep making them.

Unfortunately maybe the only thing that will get GT7’s attention is that all drivers leave races when Kimi is in the grid. Otherwise they simply do not care about it as long as people are willing to race against Kimi

I heard an odd comment on a forum that someone thought it’s an alt account for a top 25 driver and thus it’s allowed as it keeps gt7 viewing numbers high in videos. My concern is no penalties and keeps his dr and sr ratings somehow.
After some digging it was found that Kimi' real name is Sophy and is a PD plant!
Kireth there is no need to think about Kimi. He is sick in his/her head and seemed to be bullied in his youth. We need to blame the Japanese management of PD. Shame on this management! They are aware about such losers as Kimi doing nothing against Kimi and working against all the other GT 7 users
I think the first thing we all could do is stopping making people like him free propaganda! the more you talk about them, the more they feel motiveted to keep doing it! Of course we must address the issue, but not pointing to anybody specific as by doig so, we just bring more and more evidence to them... but that's just my humble opinion...

There should be an immediate 10 second penalty where the car is ghosted and can't move for 10 seconds immediately and this stuff will stop.
Passed few races ive done have been really bad for dirty drivers! Penalties need to be enforced more and greater time

The algo is all over the place. Side swiped off as you overtake on the straight, i get penalty for leaving track limits. People turn left on right handers to push you wide, no penalty. Others miles off track, no pen. No brake barge into corner, no penalty?
I tap a guy on the way out of a corner because i got a better drive, made him accelerate.....i get a penalty?
Surely the algo can tell if you have the breaks on or you are 30mph to fast into a corner?

I would catch him on a hairpin, then I just wouldn't brake whatsoever and slam the dude at 200mph straight in orbit around Neptune. Penalties be damned.
I had 2 races with him this past weekend. Both were outrageous displays of dirty driving. He qualified 2 places ahead of me in both races, I'm fully aware of his behaviour so in the first I stayed far enough behind to not entice him to brake check me. In the second I pitted early and later in the race he came out from his pit stop right in front of me, I had another driver behind me who I had been racing with all race to this point. In the first turn I let the car behind go in front so I had a barrier to Kimi, chaos ensued and I was able to get past both of them and get far enough in front that I was safe. Kimi and drivers like him are a cancer in this game. The worst part of it is that across those 2 races I saw him brake check multiple people, blatantly just take people out constantly - not a single penalty given to him. Quite shocking.
Community action : driver behind takes them out. It's drawing the short straw but the sacrifice would neutralize these trash drivers for the rest of the lobby to have a legit race.

SR needs to be reformed to a contact points system scored out of 100k to make it hard to build and maintain, like DR.

@@Jailhouse_Chris it doesn't seem to work at all tbh, it's only scored out of 99, and the threshold for being reset is pretty meaningless.
I see an easy resolution.... The device need to add some way of voting someone like that out of the lobby! Once one person votes, everyone else will get a message to vote kick or stay

There should be a drive through pen, or black flag or something that costs you all hope of a good position if you no break punt into corners.

Dirty Driving has reached the lowest of lows. Got completely taken out yesterday. In the final turn of the final lap. It was someone driving under the Spanish flag. But it was not Kimi.

Im 99% kimi is just a guy payed by other game developers to make ppl quit gt7 and play other racinv games.

Just spread the word until GT can hear you. They want to be a serious “racing” game with international audiences yet drivers do not receive penalty for punting cars across the map.
I was racing in the manufacturer cup. Guy took me out multiple times. I try very hard to drive fair. Somehow I had a 1 second penalty at the end of the race. He did also. I just didn’t understand. I am going to start recording my races. I am a scrub driver in d tier I think. Just a controller player looking to have fun. I couldn’t imagine this stuff happening in the platinum tier.
Well, Kimi has a lot of secondary accounts, how I know it? Well, he's with his russian account in this video and one time I've managed to find one of his spanish accounts with a ! signal, he has or had one account banned or suspended temporally but he has more accounts with no proofs of ban and working normally.
They really need to ban the ip address of drivers like this.
Do some kind of system where you can report drivers you have raced with and after x amount of reports then it’s an instant ban. So 250 reports by 250 people can’t be wrong?

I not only approve of taking out KIMI but I would dedicate my race to doing nothing BUT taking out KIMI.
Thats why I stop playing sport mode and just play regular multiplayer cause I'm tired of players in sport mode racing dirty and messing up everyone's rankings.

No matter what, Kimi will always drive dirty, best thing would be that EVERYONE pushes him off until he gets to last place regardless of how he is driving. Your race is pretty much ruined anyway if he's on your lobby.

He had engine damage, he wasn’t coasting. And a 4 second penalty, but as you said, it’s the only one he got.

Kireth....Polyphony simply doesnt care. As long as they have their player numbers they simply dont care about the quality of the players.
As you can see...even if they ban the player's account,, they will just create a new one. Louis Dinisio has gone through 4 accounts.
The ONLY way a ban would ever work is if they ban the IP address itself. And if the player happens to be on a 'hide your IP' things then there is nothing Polyphony can do.
I'm 100% for clean driving, I love close competition and fair overtakes but I wouldn't hesitate to take him out lap one turn one, if you can knock him out and he's so far behind and can't catch up, then everyone else can have a good fun race. I don't care if it takes dirty driving to take out a dirty driver, I will always do my best to show respect to those that offer it and none to those that don't.
There might be a cooldown window after you get penalized that he was trying to avoid falling in. Might be the reason why it took him so long to start driving dirty again. These kinds of people make me sick. All of that hard work only to be compromised by a stupid driver who just so happens to be quick.
(edit): 6th day on the Euro account, and guess who I meet? And you'd better believe he caused some mayhem in our lobby. I didn't even know he was still playing on PS4. Sort of like an honor to actually be taken out from him, honestly. The same can't be said for future altercations, though.

I've been having a glitch on my PS4 version where none of the other cars start the race. So, all the races I enter I run into or wreck someone and get called all sorts of things. Does anyone else experience this and is there a way to report it or fix it? I dont try to race dirty deliberaltey.

this is a good subject but you need to edit the video more thoughtfully. It's hard to tell what's going on. I had to rewind a couple of times at 2:20 to actually see the lambo take out kimi. Watch super GT, he shows race incidents much better, usually from chase cam from the offending car, with at least a couple of seconds before the incident to give context.
he took out the lambo at 2:20 but the camera is pointed backward so there's no context, had to rewind to actually see the contact
when you review the lambo taking him out at 2:08, it's impossible to pick out the lambo without rewinding again

This game absolutely sucks, dirty driving is so bad, my DR has decreased because I continue to get taken out and finish way down the pack, Why should DR be effected because of dirty driving. After spending about $3000.00 on sim equipment to play this game, and not enjoying it, I don't play anymore, roll on Forza.
The problem is that Kimi has been doing this for a very long time time and time again he does it and yes he`s a fast driver but there is no excuse for him taking other drivers out if this was real he would be banned from racing or worse still if this was real he could kill someone. Does he care ? No not one iota could you reason with him? I very much doubt it. Some people can`t be educated in clean respectful driving. i`m sorry but he deserves everything he gets and Polophony needs to do something to permantly ban him from these races.
Maybe GT will grow some balls and start banning all of his accounts. Clearly he has more than one.
