One of them counts as player 1, 2 of them counts as player 2. In this case peach was player 1 and both mario and luigi share player 2. So unfortunately mario and luigi can't interact with each other. Only peach

I did this accidentally, and if luigi fell over then peach would say "mario?"

It doesn't work for me, I also recently got peach yesterday
There was an update last week so i don't know if the glitches i post still work or not
