Blind Guardian was my fav band until Nightfall. Then they start to crumble down, they start to use chorus everywhere and they lost their magic in song writing. But still Imaginations is my fav metal album of all time.
As much as I love Blind Guardian, and enjoy hearing Hansi sing, I am sorry to say his bass playing then just didn't look good at all. Period. Seemed like a kid doing both bass and vocals at the same time for the first time ever. I have played bass and did vocals at the same time before, and I know how difficult it is. Thing is, he did both for 12 years. Think he would of improved on it. May be a nitpick, but it is something that bothers me.

For me, ALL their albums are masterpieces, and they are still the best Band IMO.

But I think I prefer Hansi's type of screaming singing like this more than his high pitch voices these days..
