I loved your informative video. I really enjoyed it. I have purchased the one day one page Midori from Bookbinders Design Australia for the first time for 2024. It is gorgeous I agree and I love the soft minimal look of it. I also am trying out the Cousin for my everyday planning for 2024. I also got the codex clear plastic cover (thankyou for the advice) still deciding if I will use it or a decorative cover on my Cousin. I am planning a bit of a change with my journals for 2024.
Oooo a change is always fun! The Codex is a little bigger than I remember. Although I read somewhere that the Cousin is a little thinner this year due to the new paper? I just love this One Day One Page book, it’s so lovely. Looking forward to seeing how you use it 🥰
Your MD calendar sticker pack should have both the 2024 and 2025 yearly overview stickers. You might want to to double-check among the packaging bits to see if it's hiding somewhere. If it is definitely missing, you should contact the retailer about that.
I bought the A5 Hon and a cover, and I think it will also fit the regular cousin a bit better than the codex cover. I'm wondering if the Hon A6 clear cover would fit the Midori one day one page A6 as well? However, no pen loop, but it would keep that lovely cover clean.
Hmmmnn I like both but they behave very differently. The Midori paper feels more absorbent. The Hobonichi paper is a lot smoother. I actually have an ink swatch journal which is two books - one Midori and one Hobonichi to compare the two when I get new inks. I think there’s a video here on my channel.
Yes I will! It’s the same one. I decided to use it for however many years it takes me to fill and I just won’t take any notice of the monthly calendars ☺️
